Who's being attacked? You on about that bickering yesterday? The issue isn’t the secrecy, it’s sending members onto here to attack anyone who has questions.
It's almost like ACL has been passed back in to Council hands, but no one wants to say it.
I can accept the previous anger in regards to the owners not buying the arena when they should have .
Let's also not forget the dodgy council , who have their hands in many dodgy pies already .
We've never owned the stadium .
To be angry at our owners because wasps and ACL are going bust is a new strange tbh
Insurance and health and safety certificate. I believe that both are in the owners name. Can a match go ahead without the services of those suppliers? A match could surely go ahead without catering for example, although I appreciate it might not be ideal, particularly for those with executive seats. The absolute musts are stewards, but is there any one else whose services provided to ACL would prevent a game from taking place?,
There have been more than a few suggestions that reeves is still involved. It's almost like ACL has been passed back in to Council hands, but no one wants to say it.
Guess that depends on if it's in admin or liquidated?Insurance and health and safety certificate. I believe that both are in the owners name.
Wouldn’t directly blame them for this but looking at the last few years as a whole, I don’t think they’re squeaky clean in the latest facade.
So much could’ve been avoided by so many parties.
Don't.
There are some right sick fucks on here that would be tipped over the edge if they saw Joy in one of those bikini's.
Think Warriors fans volunteering got that sorted in a short period of time.Insurance and health and safety certificate. I believe that both are in the owners name.
Hopefully. My mate is a stretcher bearer up there. That what he said the problem is. He is gonna try and find out more today regarding Tuesday nightGuess that depends on if it's in admin or liquidated?
I think it’s safe to say that there isn’t oneI’d just love to know what the plan for the club is if we don’t get this ground.
Who's being attacked? You on about that bickering yesterday?
That's the thing, as soon as the council did that they tried to put a nail in the football clubs coffin and knew full well.True but let's flip it ..
Had we new owners after wasps purchase of the lease , the exact same thing would be happening now mate and the council would ultimately be the one that when you roll it back , fucked the football club over for 250 years
The sale of the stadium to wasps was a disaster by our council
There's certainly a lot of people trying to stir it up to get angry at the club.
Still, detracts from wasps confirmed as relegated.
What would actually need paying for on a match day that we don't already pay for? We already pay everyone on the CCFC side obviously, and we pay for stewards and policing. We supply ground staff, although there is also ground staff employed by ACL I'm sure we could manage without them. The f&b is all outsourced and if the currently providers don't want to do it we can have a match with the food outlets shut (just put a few burger vans outside) and get Dhillons to run the bars.Thanks. I just can’t see that figure being for one game. If that amount was paid there must be more to it ie maybe the club owed a proportion of it already. Who knows though.
I mean I'm not the sharpest tool in the box

Yeah so why did he refuse to acknowledge this when people pointed stuff out years ago rather than shouting at then on air?Thinks that's stretching the 'local media pro wasps agenda' theory a bit far.
He's right, it is a joke.
And our predicament is a bigger story than wasps getting relegated because, in general, rugby isn't very interesting.
Sisu haven't denied anything.
It's not the same thing
Where did he say it?
Yeah so why did he refuse to acknowledge this when people pointed stuff out years ago rather than shouting at then on air?
I'm not saying he was solely trying to cover it up.I'm not saying there hasn't been an agenda, there clearly has, I'm saying in this on this occasion he's right and I think it's a bigger story than wasps being relegated hence his comments.
Is he quoted? He clearly said it to the journalist I’m not sure on the point
it’s pretty clear the original process was staged for him to buy it and he pulled out
Is he quoted?
Just saying he clearly didn't come out and say it.

What's left? I guess hospitality but I'm sure if you said to those booked we'll refund / move you most would be OK with it and realise getting the game on is the priority. What else is ACLs responsibility on a match day? Only thing that comes to mind is the electric bill. Surely we could pick that up if needed.
Think insurance is a bit of a red herring. The building itself needs to be insurance by someone, either ACL, the administrator or CCC. Event insurance isn't hard to get, in this case there would be a pre-existing agreement so all we'd need to do is phone up the insurance company and say we'll pay on a game by game basis until this is resolved.
None of this is ideal but if we have to 'make do' for a couple of games that has to be better than playing elsewhere.
ACL will get some income from keeping some events going
I would assume they owe money to a lot of contractors - catering especially - who will not be convinced they are getting paid money owed so suppliers and match day providers have probably said enough is enough
There was a time for that, but………..We should be telling the clueless CEO and dumbass owners to fuck off once and for all
How does it work in reality then? So if ACL owe money to various contractors, CCFC (SISU?) are paying those contractors to get the game on.
I understand what you’re saying, and it’s good we are getting the game on, I’m just failing to see why this falls on the club to do so?
Is he quoted?
Just saying he clearly didn't come out and say it.
How do you know he did?he leaked it that’s the point. He was the main party of interest and now isn’t
I don't think the place has failed a safety certificateI think the insurance thing is an issue tbh.
I can imagine an underwriter asking the question:
“So, this arena. You paid £15-£20m for it, suggest that it requires £20m for repairs,
That doesn’t sound very safe.
And, you have borrowed £35m against it and want to insure it at the rebuild cost of (total guess) £100m?
Have you paid the security firm? Will it be monitored?
Is it occupied?
And you are in administration?
You’ve got no money?
And you don’t need it anymore because the Rugby Club you had had gone pop?
I see.
And if it did burn down all your problems would be solved?
Right….”
(Satire but you get the picture, insurance won’t be easy)
We wouldn't need to insure the building, that's someone else's problem. We'd need single event insurance and realistically that's just a case of speaking to the provider and ensuring cover continues on the current terms on a match by match basis.I think the insurance thing is an issue tbh.

Every season ticket holder is getting a free Wasps flagIf Tuesday is moved I'm not going because it's sometimes enough of a race getting to the CBS on a weeknight. The plus side is the apology gifts planned for season ticket holders will be due an upgrade, so every cloud
