To be fair, the club stays in decent hotels for away fixtures.
Only because I sort them though ;-)
So basically we have 4 invested parties , 3 of which would be interested in the football club ..
John mcevoy, Ashley, sisu
Congratulations to NEC group on your new acquisition
Gilbert says in a response to somebodyIs it confirmed McEvoy is one of them?
It was a two pronged slant.
1) Can CCFC afford to stay in anything other than hostels?
2) Does Walsall offer anything other than hostels?

That sounds most likely and will probably avoid further potential SISU claim potential that would occur if we played at Walsall. Also, could the update from the club mean ACL are somehow avoiding Administration today and have another extension?
Does this McEvoy actually have money though, also @Nick did you say someone blamed SISU?Just seen it.
It sounds more promising than it did yesterday.

Out of all those bidders, Ashley probably is the one who can finance the purchase of the CBS easily.
There is, or at least was, meeting notes on the council website that say safeguards need to be put in place to ensure that if CCFC / SISU ever get ownership of the stadium it can't be used as security on any finance.Pretty sure the Council also said that's why they didn't want SISU to own it...
I wonder if SISU and Ashley are working together on this - it would make sense. In theory, they would want Ashley to pay less for the Ricoh so he would pay more for the club.
Use the Britannia chain a lot, do you?
This is what I canāt get my head round, why would he be in for the CBS against SISU if they were in agreement.Yep, it's just then what's he going to do with it.
Surely he would have an agreement in place for the club before the arena?
Thatās what Dawkins says - but thereās nowhere on the net that confirms this net value (not impossible like) but usually billionaires are on forbes or have some kind of internet presenceBillionaire with stakes already in American sports clubs , music venues etc

The office space is definitely in poor condition. Leaking roof, pipes and toilets not in working order.Would be interested to know what would cost 13 million to repair, care to hazard a guess? Thats a lot of investment.

Somebody managed to spend Ā£5 million on a glorified porch so Ā£13 million in repairs and updates doesnāt seem that much.
Bonfire after we have come back from Watford anyone???I'm sure theres a few thousand people who can happily save them a few quid by removing anything Wasps related for free.
Dawkins tweeted 20 minutes ago saying āWE CONTINUEā your guess is as good as mine what that means.
If there is an extension (and it looks like there will be) itāll be interesting to find out who is putting the money in to pay the costs while this is going on?Dawkins tweeted 20 minutes ago saying āWE CONTINUEā your guess is as good as mine what that means.
Even if heās involved with the London Wasps takeover? As much as I donāt doubt that Dawkins heart is in the right place in all of this with McEvoy I still think my preferred outcome would be Ashley coming out with the lot.
Ironically you can still buy a Hummel Wasps shirt from Sports Direct for 59.99Hummel must be delighted to have all that merchandise sitting there with letās be generous a limited value.
Ideally not haha. I thought it had already been touted that the party taking over wasps wasnāt Interested in the CBS?Even if heās involved with the London Wasps takeover?
Mad O'Rourke's in Tipton?Ha ha - fair enough. Didn't pick up on the 2nd point.
To be fair, clubs normally are happy to stay within a 30 mins drive of the ground they're playing (taking into account traffic/time of travel etc). That opens up a wider area than Walsall itself. Thankfully.
