I'm still struggling to see how it's CCC's fault in the slightest.

I'm not sure 'fault' would be appropriate for SISU in this particular instance, I suspect it's more 'don't have the cash available'. But as they appear to be using a few trojan Byngs to do the poor me, they lose sympathy hand over fist.
I don’t think byng is being fed information to leak to the press. Think that’s all him but I might be wrong

And you are adamant they didn’t speak to or try to speak to the directors of acl? I’m not

Oh come on

“Derek I want to buy the place let’s talk”

“nah even if your bids 10 times more than Fat Mike your nasty wasty Sisu so I’m saying no”

I tend to assume, by default, if somebody tells you something in confidence, it's because they want you to share it.

So... Byng's either making it all up (possible, tbf!) or it's been told him for a purpose.

I can't see how those handling the sale could sideline a bid the equivalent of, or greater than, Ashley's just because they had reeves or one of his cronies whispering in their ear.
Just doesn't add up on this occasion.
Aye.

And Ashley's not known for overpaying either, so I doubt it's a ludicrously OTT offer made just to get a stadium for his ego.

(In fact that's partly the reason I won't assume he's actually bought it until he has. He may be many things, but does seem relatively astute in business terms, so am sure he'll be checking everything out in great detail)

I’ll play the game too as I only get told what people want me to know or hear

Conversations were taking place to get games on with ccc and reeves including significant sums of money being given to acl under noi to admin and potentially moving forward about the lease

At this point conversations stopped

Now I’m very happy I’m receiving answers to my specific questions and not from an unbiased position.

Why did they stop? Well it looks like Ashley turned up with a solution that didn’t involve sisu.

How could sisu bid for something without having conversations with the directors or potential administrators about the value of the assets / asset?

I’m sure if money were no object you could or if conversations were happening about how to make it possible that also would too.

You want facts ask joy or Dave or Derek or martin but they’re not gonna tell us fuckwits
So basically creditors potentially have been screwed out of a bigger bid becuase the council didn’t want ACL to be sold to SISU ( the same company who isn’t owned by the council)

if that’s the case are we expecting legal action from the creditors then?

what have i missed regarding Ashley's interest in the club? People saying he's having talks?

In reality how would that work? The trustee for the bondholders has done absolutely nothing up to this point and the bondholders who have enquired about a way of contacting other bondholders so they can work together have been told this isn't possible. Is it one of those things that looks great in theory but in practice is hard to actually achieve?

Indeed, and that's why SISU can't put out a 'Aww and we had a winning bid prepared and everything!' statement until MA completes...

Everyone knew a race was on as soon as the first wasps holdings Notice appeared. At that point serious bidders would have started to look at putting an offer together
I think the race if that’s what you call it was on way before, Ashley was mentioned to be interested in CCFC after his Derby bid failed, the on going Wasp/ACL issue perhaps muddied things but from a Mike Ashley prospective if not Derby why not Coventry similar clubs both at the time with complicated ground issues. We will probably never know but MA was possibly nudged months ago.

If after the event Sisu provided evidence they’d made a better off to the creditors absolutely

The other thing of course is Seppala is adamant that the club have funds to build a totally brand new stadium so once the owner of the one they are in wants out it’s clear they’d have more than enough money to buy and could use the considerable spare change to invest in the team

Then of course when it came to stumping up for a new pitch they told us to sod off

He has been leaking a fair bit to certain supporters he wants to keep in the loop

And how come NEC and Ashley both got enough information to make a bid - but SISU we’re left in the cold?

Pete’s making it sound like they’re the only company banned from the information..by the council…. Who have no control over who obtains this info

It’s still more than possible that Ashley has done a confidential deal for the club on the proviso that he acquires ACL first.

There isn’t actually any noise coming out the club that the council has screwed SISU over again, it’s all come from people who like to portray themselves of being in the know and someone like Simon Gilbert isn’t going to know if the deal is wrapped up in confidentiality clauses.

You’re going to have a hard time convincing me that CCC has screwed SISU over and Tim Fisher has fuck all to say about it.

I just hope they're not planning on digging their heels in and hanging around. Only way that can pay off is if we fluke a promotion without them investing which doesn't seem a very high end business strategy

They decided not to give Robins any help last January towards that and if anything will undermine him again in the one coming. Would love to know what’s going through Seppalla’s head

Derek has disappeared or had
Joy and Derek haven’t spoken but there is another director
And why come on? You know reeves confirmed he hasn’t spoken to joy in 12 years and yes I know it cuts both ways

Possible. I have been used in the past to facilitate information being shared. He’s just so unprofessional

Have you thought Tim Fisher might want to stay on as chairman with a different owner, it wouldn’t surprise me at all.

Hardly think it would be bigger and although I am concerned about people losing their livelihood im more interested (sad I know) in ccfc being successful and I’m not blind to the fact that they are stimied currently having an owner not willing to invest modestly

It depends what his offer is though.
If he's offered 10 million for example, and a Premier league club offers 15 million for Gyokeres, then Sisu will sell.

The offer would be based on the clubs current state. The offer will be revised if any changes occur or if any clauses are added. Unless the terms were, you can sell Gyokeres, take all the money from that sale and MA said I will give you £10m on top of that. However, I would doubt that would be a condition as Gyokeres value is increasing.

Yeah, it's why on the rare occasion I do speak to people ITK, I tend to try and keep it to myself as much as possible. Sometimes can't resist sneaking out tidbits such as CCC offering a potential stadium site to SISU once upon a time, but most of the time I don't want to be their mouthpiece.

I remember the stick me, Nick and co. got for meeting Labovitch. There was a reason I didn't share what he said, and that was because most of it was absolute bollocks!
