Can’t see it being at the CBS. It’s too big for a prem rugby club let alone a championship one. Plus, the only reason they had any sort of appeal in the Cov area was ‘elite’ rugby.
It would be another disastrous decision from them if they did.

Surely the Conservative opposition councillors will be all over this, the chance to prove misappropriation of taxpayers money is too good to miss.

Local politicians fudging the facts. ShockerSeems to be the thing here. There’s “Coventry City Council” the organisation and “the council” the elected representatives of the city. And people are switching between which they mean at any particular point.

The Chief Exec becomes “the council” which he’s not, he’s Chief exec of Coventry City Council. A third party being introduced becomes “council bailout” because that’s the story angle he’s been working with TWW and the like.
