Bingo! Its all about saving face and hiding shady dealings. Its sickening and there should be a full investigation. These people do not have the interests of the city or its people at heart, only their own personal or hypocritical political agendas.

Fuck the club over, where have you been ? We have an owner who puts didley-squat into the club, took us out of Coventry twice and talked of doing it again, a manager having to constantly pull up trees with a pathetic budget to work with, she would sell any star for any fee with almost bugger all for reasonable replacements and the club is in a transfer embargo again, shall I go on,
How are wages paid

Now before I go on I’m delighted for this kit man that he is still in a job especially at this time of the year. However, he’s given an impression that London wasps are returning to the area as he is effectively the old training ground caretaker. Not sure he should be doing this….

Can’t see it being at the CBS. It’s too big for a prem rugby club let alone a championship one. Plus, the only reason they had any sort of appeal in the Cov area was ‘elite’ rugby.

It would be another disastrous decision from them if they did.

The Council will probs pay the rent for them.

After a couple of games and it’s chilly, getting thumped again each week they will end up with gates of 2-3,000 in Coventry. That revenue wouldn’t be enough to cover the weekly rental of the cbs and as someone mentioned on Twitter this week you couldn’t offer London wasps a different rental agreement than CCFC. It would all kick off again.

I reckon there will be ladies football at CBS and they will get higher attendences than Wasps

Surely the Conservative opposition councillors will be all over this, the chance to prove misappropriation of taxpayers money is too good to miss.

? They will because them and Gilbert have been beating that drum for a while, but what taxpayers money? If anything it was Hottingers money.

Coventry Ladies are not part of the actual club are they? Maybe time to bring them under the CCFC umbrella and get them up the leagues.

Wouldn’t want Cov Utd ladies there if I am honest.

Seems to be the thing here. There’s “Coventry City Council” the organisation and “the council” the elected representatives of the city. And people are switching between which they mean at any particular point.
Local politicians fudging the facts. Shocker

Or local journos fudging facts for clicks. Take your pick.

The Chief Exec becomes “the council” which he’s not, he’s Chief exec of Coventry City Council. A third party being introduced becomes “council bailout” because that’s the story angle he’s been working with TWW and the like.
