Doesn’t stop the fact she’s oblivious to the effect on us. I assume she’s just followed the telegraph on the facts of this?

I can understand that view if that’s the case

She follows the forum guy Vulgaris who has claimed to be in the know and basically is a clueless idiot. He bans his own supporters who do not tow the line

I don’t think laughing at her is especially helpful. She’s 85, has I think Parkinson’s (why she calls herself Wonky) and enjoys her day out - I feel a bit sorry for her in truth

I’m not laughing g at her, it’s more the shock at the commenting on lack of support from us.

if It’s a case of getting a one eyed view of the situation it’s understandable.

Tbf have you ever met anyone in their 80s who will have their mind changed on anything? If what G says is accurate it's possibly the first time I've felt sorry for a Wasps fan. It's the old granny thing that does it I think.

Valid point - My grandad was like that. He last went to watch us before st andrews and never went again.

felt sorry for him, like you said - might be the old granny thing. You do start to feel sorry because I assume like my grandad she’s been knocked for 6 by the housebound effects of Covid.

one of her big constants are likely to disappear, I suppose it is quite heartbreaking in that respect

All we should be concerned about is that the stadium will still be available to CCFC whilst the money boys skin the fuck out of the WASPS who by the way are the fall guys for some rich bastards lining their pockets on adversity! Just like Richardson and Robinson did to us all those years ago.

I do like how Wasps fans are going on about "Rugby Family" and suddenly wondering why people are glad Wasps are fucked.

They don't realise that they were effectively cheating too, which is why other Rugby fans don't like them.
They don’t accept that they cheated the moment they couldn’t pay what they owe,

There accounts are overdue. Probs not in NOI as its not a Richardson company. owned by Eastwood

IEC are a 100% group member of wasps holdings

There are no charges registered against IEC so it is not part of any security given to bond or anyone else.

It deals with the conference and exhibition income side of the business which is operated by Delaware North. It about breaks even each year

is part of this whole shambles because owned by ACL directly 100% which is owned by wasps holdings 100%. Same situation for ACL 2006 ltd

it would be possible to extract that company from the wasps holdings group relatively easily if someone wanted to but i would suspect one of the larger creditors of wasps holdings group is Delaware North so a new owner might let that arrangement go

As it stands if a new owner wanted to hit the ground running then i would think that the only things they would want would be ACL 2006 ltd (for the head lease), the assets including current leases held by ACL (for the rights to income and stadium fixed assets) and IEC experience ltd to run it (assuming they dont have in house expertise to run it themselves)

One thing this scenario shows is that we were right all along. The council selling the Ricoh kept SISU around for longer.

now the stadium is back in play, we are an attractive proposition to new buyers. Had the council stuck to their guns they could have squeezed SISU out by finding a buyer willing to take stadium and football club

Not only that they could have ended up looking good in the process by saying they were protecting a community asset.

Instead they allowed personalities get in the way, fucked the club, made the terrible owners stick around, had their hand in a year in Birmingham as well as ripping another club away from their community due to them also having unscrupulous hedge fund owners.

Have they ever drawn 30k plus? For like a normal game?

Apparently they got over 31,000 back in 2018 for their Christmas game, but I imagine the festive games are outliers.
Also wonder how many were still free tickets?

You have to have some sympathy for the supporters who have been with the club for years.

They are just an odd nomadic club that seems to totally accept the moving around is part of their being

it’s worth remembering a lot of people have been taken in by the total nonsense Sisu have spouted about new grounds so glass houses and all that

They have been sold down the river by their owners who have lied and denied everything and I suspect the end is pretty close but i think we should refrain a bit from gloating as if the FL hadn’t bent over backwards when we decided to wander round the midlands this could have Been us

Maybe for the supporters who supported them in London etc but screw the rest of them. The difference in your scenario is that city fans weren’t laughing at any other clubs or bragging about the situation

I think to be fair, that pretty much everyone on here has expressed some form of sympathy for the original supporters of Wasps - the ones from down South who went regularly and ended up with their club ripped away from them and moved 100 miles without a second thought about that original fanbase.

Any 'gloating' is for the demise of a divisive club who've shown no issue with turning up in a city with a top two tier rugby club already in existence, taking potential fan base from said rugby club and our own CCFC, a club who picked up a stadium built for us on the cheap (I know CCC are complicit), a club who weren't bothered about the folk of Henley when it came to taking a facility of them, a club who have taken £35 million from folk to finance a stadium they haven't been able to afford, a club that owe HMRC a few million, a club that likely owe local suppliers some much needed cash flow.

Original fans like your Tinder match, I do feel sorry for. But I don't so anyone gloating at such fans.

Original Supporters of plenty of years with generations of Wasps fans, yes they have my sympathy. I hope that "Wasps" will just move back down south in some form.

The new Coventry ones? Hilarious.

The problem is they just don’t accept their role in helping to harm us.

they’re nit the direct cause, but they tried to take advantage of a situation they didn’t understand nor should have been involved in,

since then they’ve refused to accept their role, and havE refused to understand how their presence has effected us.

all We’ve had from them is that we should be grateful to them, and that we should just be happy being second fiddle, and not feel welcome in a stadium built for us.

I have no sympathy because they shows us no sympathy - they showed us contempt. I’ll never forgive that
