I have a spare ticket. Although I haven't picked them up yet from a friend. And I don't know how they are.
Where abouts in London are you?

I'm Brixton but work central - can meet either at game or before whatever works. Will DM you.

Been scouring the training photos from today. Nothing that looks like a wild Sheaf so far.

Trying to look for any kind of positives here. Only things I can think of are we’ve won there on our last couple of visits and it's not a 12:30 kickoff as we have not won any of those so far. After playing so bad so far, things can only get better (I hope).

well, it looks like sheaf can balance a ball on the end of his knob. you've got to be impressed with that.

Back to basics I feel. Need to keep it tight and counter attack.
Will be interesting to see if players returning from internationals are on the bench.

Can't see Haji or Latibeaudiere being in the squad tbh

Hajis USA Game doesn't finish until 3am Thursday our time, flight home, jetlag etc.

Same with Latibeaudiere

Thomas and EMC to come in for them 2 I feel, with Raphael and Sheaf coming on to the bench to replace

Wrigjt just been announced in the starting line up for the US game tonight

Can't see this. Sheaf on the grass but not training with the squad. Rapha not on the grass as far as we know from club photos. And it would be something they'd like to show off, as they do with every returning injury.

In terms of their squad and amount of money the club have, I could be wrong but I’m sure I read somewhere that they’re quite heavily in debt. A lot of pundits had Watford to be down in the bottom quarter of the table this season based on the fact they’ve sold a lot of decent players and bought little quality in. Either way if we were serious about promotion we should be drawing to Watford as a minimum.
I think they had a bit of debt from the premier league, but I heard on a podcast somewhere that they have made the most profit in the league over the past two season or something like that and they are now debt free. Yes, I heard plenty of these so called experts and mostly uninformed youtubers making their predictions. I would say whilst Watford have sold a few decent players its debateable whether they brought in quality or not as they signed Sissoko who may be 35 but has something like 70 caps for France, Ogbana from West Ham again is the wrong side of 30 but you would think that he would do a job in the championship, they brought in Ebosele who played over 30 games in Serie A last season and Daniel Jebbison from Bournemouth. We need to get our season going but I don't think Watford will be as poor as many expected them to be at the start of the season, My brother in law supports Stoke City and he said Watford tore them apart in their game recently and that he was impressed by them.

Anyway I am staying optimistic and saying 1-2 to the Sky Blues.

Watford made a loss last year before player sales of £24m albeit including interest on debts to their owner. I think the day to day losses were more like £7m but based on a turnover that continued to include parachute payments, £48m for TV and Media which is going to reduce to something more like £10m this year. That means they've got a £45m gap to bridge.
