The definition of madness is to have expectations in the Championship. You can expect to win a few and be competitive but there is over half a division that could get into the top 6. It’s a quagmire of a league.

Tripe. In that case why invest £40 million in the squad? Why not just look to survive.

We have sold a record number of season tickets - why is that do you think? To have no expectations at all of success? Do you think all we keep going if we end up declining league position? No fan of the club has an expectation of a top 6 finish?

Nonsense

Knicking a couple of trays of cat food or whatever and selling down the pub, just an anecdote I heard today from someone was working in the street today!

For their goal DaSilva was just jogging back towards our penalty area, wondering who was meant to be picking up the Watford man free on the far post?
I've watched goal . Guy who scored ran from a long way back just outside Watford box. At the start of his run Torp was nearer the Coventry goal. Torp did not follow him at all. Take a close look. That was shocking defensively. DaSilva and Torp were to blame.

Well you are probably correct that those expectations exist. It’s why we have the lunacy of people after Robins and booing a song about King. Some are so entitled now that they can’t stomach the non purchase of a free midfielder after we retained all our best players. We should absolutely expect to be competitive but no amount of season tickets can guarantee you top 6.

Saw something that said post Brexit price had gone down or stayed the same and quality had shot up. Not sure how. The number of barely employed people I know with a habit is ridiculous. No idea how they can afford it.

blaming Brexit for cocaine usage. what goes on in your head I do not know

Funny you say that - it wouldn’t actually surprise me. Increase in border checks means the risk has gone up. Usually entails higher prices

you do know people were taking cocaine before 2019?

there is absolutely no correlation with Brexit and drug use. cocaine will always be part of society rather people like it or not. being in the eu or not wouldnt stop that

Boosh here.

I booed the song. Not because I was booing Doug King, I don’t agree with any owner having a song. Particularly one that has achieved nothing as of yet and ha taken us backwards in terms of playing quality and league position.

Quite funny how defensive people have gotten over it. We have lost our 3 best players in the space of 12 months, there would have been riots had that happened under Sisu.

Support the players not the owner.

Also, to all those losers saying I only started supporting the club recently, I have more loyalty points than anyone on this forum and have attended basically every game in the last 15/20 years.

I’m not saying the weren’t - I’m just saying that Brexit probably had an effect on price.

On that point he’s saying the price has come down. you’re saying the price has gone up. what is it?
Misread it. I wouldn’t be surprised either way 2bh. you can make a case for higher or lower prices.

higher - you can’t get through Europe as easily legally.

on the flip side with the increased boats coming over from France you could easily flood the market that way. Either way both are byproducts of Brexit

Here it is. Obviously not Brexit to blame trend was going well before. Maybe 2015 is a better inflection point.

Also this is EU price so definitely not Brexit related.

I go to every away game and rarely have any bad behaviour anywhere near me. The ratio of people in the crowd on drugs is no different to the ratio in your local on a Saturday night.

And I have never taken a drug in my life @shmmeee is forever bragging on here about how cool he is for taking drugs. Shock he’s moaning about others doing it because they don’t agree with his views on the ownership.

It was a game of two halves should have been out of sight at half-time if it wasn't for poor finishing, I thought it was the best I have seen us play all season. Watford seemed to change their tactics when their goalkeeper went down injured close to half-time and they were much more dominant in the second half. We struggled to get out as Watford pressed us high, think we need to address this as it's becoming a bit of a problem when teams press high. Second half I thought Watford's midfield was too dominant Sissoko in particular was picking up the ball and running 20-30 yards with it at times.
