If you didn't know I've been at a wedding in Lincoln,
I checked the scores at 85 mins and accepted defeat, but then I checked the Chelsea - WBA score later on and seen our score. I've also heard from many sources that our supporters were class-A, so well done to them!
Onwards & Upwards for the Sky Blues- Come on Cityy!!
P.S. QPR look frightning.
Support was good apart from some idiots chanting against Boothroyd's subs. Everyone seemed to take it personally when he took Eastwood off for Platt, he obviously made the change purely on a tactical basis and it had nothing to do with how Eastwood was playing. The fact was that they had a monster for a centre back, not sure what his name was think he was number 5 and we weren't winning anything up top and couldn't keep the ball in their half of the pitch and that changed when Platt came on. We were able to win the ball and keep it in their half and put them under pressure. Before Platt came on I don't remember us having a shot on goal, I think Loach was fast asleep when Bell struck on 88 minutes. In all it was a dire game for us for 80 minutes but although we weren't very good in all areas we never stopped battling and got our reward in the end. Also another lesson in
why you should never leave a game early. Some people near me were moaning all game and to be fair they had their right to have a moan and groan because it was painful to watch at times but then they left early and missed out the best part! Wasted all that money going to watch the worst parts of 80 minutes and then left before an amazing comeback.
Man of the match for me was Michael Doyle, never gave up and battled it out all game - a good person to have in your team especially when you are losing because his head doesn't drop and he never stops working. Very unlucky not to have stole all the points for us in the end, took a great save from Loach to keep the effort out.
Also thought Platt did well to come on and changed the game and Gunnarsson was looking more like his old self when he came on as well, looks refreshed and hungry to play.
Bring on the Sheep!!
Don't forget the game v Derby is an early kick off because it's on Sky I believe
