Looks like it may be a traditional Saturday 3pm for the Cobblers game in the Cup. TV games have gone for Salford, Didicot, FC Mancs of Utd (or whatever they are called.

Edit: For..... the FA Cup

Surely that goes against everything FCUM stand for. TV is the evil that ruined football according to them.

It is the have asked the fa not to be on tv but they have insisted they are, plus they have had to put the tickets up by £1

Thats whats always puzzled me with FCUM. They want a successful team to cheer on without the money element being a factor, but the ultimate reward for a successful team is getting into the league and eventually the Prem.
When this happens will they all leave FCUM and go and start another club?

Why did anyone think our game would be on TV?

Wouldn't have expected us to be a live match but wouldn't have been surprised to see us on that Sunday thing where they have 8 games and go around the grounds. The number of times they mentioned us being knocked out last year you would have thought they'd have us in mind.

Luckily Wasps have come to the rescue!

Some mates here in sunny Northampton who are Cobblers season ticket holders are just hoping that the Club lasts long enough to fulfill the fixture! A bit of gallows humour never hurt us in our darker (slightly) days either.

It was always my understanding that these were formed in retaliation of the glazers not tv ? they have no issue in regards being on tv what they object too is Monday is a working day as is the tuesday after, the fa have said they must charge a minimum of £10. they only charge £9 so they are giving £1 voucher off to spend on drinks etc.

Maybe they could be called Soccer Club United of Manchester.

Much more appropriate acronym.

I think it's a bit like communism. Sounds great in theory, awful in practice. However, if they could develop what they have into a fan owned/centred model that lived within its means to be self sustainable I am sure most of their fans would be happy with this.

FCUM are annoyed that there game has been moved to Monday night for TV.

I'm sorry but cup games are televised, why enter the sodding competition?

Some people dislike the commercialisation of football and the Champions League, wankathon deadline day etc

Should be £10 & £1 should use the cup comp early rounds to entice kids and families but hey ho.

Agree although I think the minimum price is dictated by the FA.

£15 certainly won't encourage any non-regulars to attend. £10 probably would have made a difference.
