This isn't a dig at mark robins , but i mentioned in a thread before somewhere that sometimes he was a bit too cautious and that maybe it had cost us some points on occasion , we often started games negatively and found ourselves behind in matches and therefore we were chasing games .

Id like to show you a graph of the last 3 seasons and what you will notice is that there is a very obvious lack of draws in matches since lamprd came in .
This is from a lad on twitter called @awbuswell I believe so the credit is his

To me there most obvious change in the management is how we are approaching matches .

Lampard is from game week 18

In 21 matches we've drawn 3

We didn’t shithouse enough. I'm still annoyed losing at home to Sheff Wed, both their goals in stoppage time in either half

I don't think there is much to say, it's still a small sample under Lampard's tenure.

22/23 we had much weaker squad and 23/24 was a rebuild year. The start of this season was different, I thought we would have started strong. It wasn't to be but Lampard has managed to get a tune out of the players and we're on an incredible run. The longer this form goes on it becomes more impressive.

If we're still in the championship and Lampard is still in charge at the end of next season, I'd imagine the draw % would level out.

You probably are right

Either this team was actually, genuinely a top 2 deck all along, or we have been winning games at a historically unsustainable rate and it will probably slow down in time.

I know which I think is more likely, but the fact that I'm even open to either possibility right now is just so fucking great.

After 38 games (with 3 awful starts)
Play off season 57 13 points in last 8
FA cup season 60 4 points in last 8
This season 59 Probably need 12 points in last 8

That cautiousness was his strength a lot of the time.
If ever we were on a bad run, Robins would set us up for a 0-0. He was good at "stopping the rot" so to speak.

I think though at times, especially in the last 18 months, he didn't realise just how good a team he had.

The part I note is how poor we have been at the start of every season, for whatever reason we just cannot start the season well, each year if we'd started the season well, we would have comfortably been in the play off places, or battling for the top two places. We simply cannot afford to not perform for the first third of a season year on year
