We need a battering ram up front....... (1 Viewer)

Armstrong can't do it on his own, yet we keep lumping it to him and the opposition just bring it back, relentlessly, week in , week out. It is not working. If you don't change something that is not working then it's hardly likely it will change.
We need a big powerful player next to him who can take the pressure off and drag defenders away, can hold the ball up for our midfielders. He doesn't need loads of skill but strength and presence .

This is not rocket science. We are playing with one up front and far too often 8 in defence when the opposition get into our half. We have no pace and no shape any more. When we get the ball we are too slow. Teams are finding it too easy to contain us. If this doesn't change soon then we're looking at bottom half.

We brought on Fortune today but he played too deep at times and the formation looked strange . Whether that was Fortune acting on instructions I don't know. We have henderson whom I haven't yet seen.

For God's sake when is the management going to wake up the the fact that we are losing games because we are playing one up front.

We have got one, TM just decides to bring MAF on instead. We get into such good positions out on the wing but we don't have the men in the box. Let Henderson deal with the two centre halfs and let Armstrong just play off him. TM may well be tinkering with the side but it's the formation atm that needs tinkering with.

What was the point of bringing Henderson in, only to then turn to Fortune when we needed a goal.

And even worse. Bring on fortune and shove Armstrong out on the left wing...
