Disagree. As so many people have said the majority of the chances he's missed have been created from his own tenacity. His first touch for the goal last night was incredibly weighted and finished well. I think if we are to have a new striker, a big man with presence would be the order of the day. Ball just isnt quite physical enough.
Clive Platt ?
Problem is they cost loads of money, cody is the best finisher we are gonna get. Can see him scoring 20 plus this season and when was the last time we had a striker do that
the midfield and strikers must be running on empty now not being able to have break as we need to win games and Rod doesn't do it for us and we have no spare midfielders ATM if Cody was allowed to rest then he will score week in week out imo or at least 1 in 2 games this season
Afternoon all I'm new to this site. i heard fleck can play upfront if so wouldn't it be better to look for a left bk as hussys a bit hit and miss for me??
He Cost's and we will only be using the loan market which finishes at the end of september i thinkThat's very true i forgot kilbane can play there .if we are looking for a forward what about the lad beavan from wycombe?
Dion 97/98. If cody bags 20 this year do we all have to hate him in the same way we have to hate dion?
what would we say about having Nimely back? Personally I would have him, great pace to use in this league and neat running on the ball with space! :thinking about:!
Although I think Cody may score a few goals this year he does seem to miss a few. With the chances he has had we could have won all 3 games. We need someone with a better conversion rate if we are to succeed.
people don't like Dion because he signed for villa and refused to play for us against Luton
We don't need a Striker, we need a quick Striker e.g nimley, Adam Campbell from Newcastle, trotta from fulham, Chris Martin from norwich, berahino from west brom
Apparently we are too good for him according to some on herewhat would we say about having Nimely back? Personally I would have him, great pace to use in this league and neat running on the ball with space! :thinking about:!
Chris Martin is definitely not a quick striker.
Granted he isn't rapid but is as quick as what we've got and is better than Ball, ROD and Jeffers
