Not sure what it is exactly, but we look a lot more dangerous whenever Walker is on the pitch. Personally, I think he’s the best we’ve got at the club.
If I was picking the team, I’d have have one of Gyo/Waghorn and one of Godden/Walker as my strike partnership.
We did enough yesterday to win, let alone draw, the game yesterday without Kelly - you’re right.
Goals win games, we had plenty of very good chances to score yesterday and didn't take any of them. The only one they got they put it away and unless we want many more very frustrating afternoons of losing to otherwise crap teams we need our attacking players especially to be more clinical.
As for the partnerships, unfortunately the only 2 fit strikers available are the ones who make the least effective duo. A real shame as Walker looked right up for it yesterday.
