Ouch - NOT buying it anymore.
Calling us, or people like us, "numbskulls" casts you adrift.
We've heard all the propaganda, the half truths and BS.
We've sussed you out now please spare us.....cheers.

But MMM you've always had an anti sisu agenda. Without suggesting an alternative.

No I haven't. I just want owners who behave legally and decently. SISU simply can't bring themselves to do that. And they lie and cheat and duck and dive. I hate their tactics. Only by virtue of that do I hate them

Well we shouldn't definitely be entitled to a cut of ALL revenues from match day imo, not just the refreshments but all other revenue which is bought to the Ricoh by the football club

So now we know where the £800,000 comes from, Fisher is counting the £500,000 held in escrow by the bank since before SISU purchased the club, talk about spin, ooppps where have a heard that before, was it 8.05 am on CWR yesterday.

the revenues are the real issue.

How so, the club is currently operating on a salary cap limited to 65% of turnover and has one of the biggest and well financed squads in the league.

Fisher said the following this summer...

Mr Fisher refused to give an exact figure as to how much City's playing budget would be but said it would be nearer £4m than £1.5m.

But from what he said it must be close to or better than £3M.

Amazing.......why have they suddenly started to champion the use of a third party? Didn't seem to want to do that when they just started to withhold the rent, did they.?

Would not be because they have a weakened position now, and can't dictate the agenda, by any chance....?

Ha ha ha. ACL have had third party judgement. Or don't you remember the court case?

MMM, I think we need to stop responding to JS's pr team. They are just trying to blame anyone else for when ACL/council do call in the debt that is legally owed to them. If they have paid 800.000 in the last ten months how come this is the first we have heard about it. SHITSU would have been screaming from the roof tops if ACL were giving out wrong info, when they say NO rent has been paid since the row started.

The remainder was match day costs which have nothing to do with the rent, they would have to pay these any way.
He was also asked whether he had shaken hands on the deal as reported and ducked this by saying that there were people in the room that would never shake hands and the prat on CWR let him get away with it!

Surely they have even less ability to dictate the agenda if a third party is in control?

Stuart read my question to him.
'Is it true that you haven't paid 1 penny towards rent during negotiations?'
He replied initially by admitting that was true.
He then referred to £500,000 paid from the Escrow account and a further £300,000 based on £10,000 per match.
He clearly said that the sum of £800,000 therefore had been paid in rent. What utter bollocks.
No wonder Nigel was in tears.
Fisher is delusional .

If they have paid £800K, makes you wonder why nobody from SISU went to the court in Birmingham to tell them that; as surely this would have had a bearing on the judgement against them.

Maybe, just maybe they didn't go and tell the judge that as it was a little bit not true?!?

I took it to mean £800k had been paid in the last year, but nothing since the disagreements began.

For all the nashing and wailing of teeth people need to listen to what Fisher / SISU are actually saying rather than sitting scoffing and casting it all as lies or spin. The escrow account has been emptied, like it or not that was money from the club, yes its a bit naughty to claim it as part of of an 800k payment but technically thats what it is. He could have presented it slightly but thats where we are. We have still paid our match fee's, still quite a princely sum. Fisher is also now on record of seemingly agreeing to the rent figure.

I just dont get why some people take everything as gospel because it comes from ACL, so far this week we have had 2 claims from that side of the table, the headline figure of 400 k annual rent, then a day later somebody on record claiming SISU turned down 150 k in rent.

Both sides are as bad as each other, why have ACL not shown them the F & B revenue, plenty on here were casting lightening rods towards SISU's head office when Mutton spoke out about the fact they had not show the council a business plan etc.....

How do ACL come to the figure of 24 million to purchase back the matchday revenue? Have they recouped their intial outlay?

Surely even you must acknowledge denying the club revenues handicaps our chances on this league

A manager applying for this job would not care about the rent issue but they would care that our revenue streams are far too limited and a big handicap.

A little bit shifty

I am finding it very tricky to decide who is the guilty party in all of this. I am not to fond of sisu & the way they have conducted themselves since taking over the club, but by the same token, I'm not sure I entirely trust the council either.

What I am not keen on is this trait that sisu have for evading straight forward answers. I too picked up on the fact that he was asked a fairly clear question, but opted to avoid answering it. Reminded me of a politician :jerkit: .. and we all know how trustworthy they are!

But by how much, you say handicap, it may make bugger all difference, I don't really think the sums they are talking about are that significant, sure they must effect the margins, but probably only a little.. far less than making the right choice of manager that is certain.

What are the figures? If you can prove the point conclusively I'll llsten, but not without cold hard & independently verified facts. So far all you have is the say so of TF & even he hasn't put a number on it, if he could argue with numbers & prove his point he surely would as that would be the best PR, the fact he is vague make me think the argument is somewhat spurious.

He's not just talking about food and drink. It's parking and sponsorship. It's a huge amount of money. It would include access to revenues for other events as well. It would be millions.
