Our midfield, especially Eccles, are lambasted for playing safe. He had obviously seen a progressive pass forward to release someone and miskicked it, which even prem players do regularly.why didn’t he find a pass - there were two players free for a simple pass to feet up the line or central, but he took an extra couple of seconds then played it straight in the air into touch - he’s a professional footballer, should be able to make a simple pass from there ‘mate’
