If we took our chances we'd have scored 2 or 3 really , I felt that west brom struggled with us second half in large spells
They did, it looked like they got a bit leggy, but as soon as they made their 3 changes, they took back control of the game.

I can accept losing. But losing to opposition who’ve done absolutely fuck all to earn it, I struggle with.

Bassette is just the new Tavares. I’m just not seeing what you lot are.
I said this before. Our fans have a weird obsession of finding the next "gem" and just latch on to the youngest player who's had a good game once in the hope they're the next Maddison

Arse. Not sure that there's much else to say. We're obviously lacking in confidence up front, and desperately in need of shoring up the spine of the team in midfield and defence. Not seeing much of a difference from Lampard so far...

The body language of the players leaving the pitch is shocking, they look like they have just lost a pre-season friendly. Those suggesting that we would not miss COH need to have a word with themselves.

Not sure that's how you look at football tbh .. the team have just lost their 1st game in 3 under lampard and we've really been quite unlucky
We've arguably been "unlucky" in a whole load of games this season. The players are weak, defence is shite and no player has any confidence in front of goal. We have Lampard who has fuck all tactical nous, when he was at Derby it was his number 2. Who he fell out with. Now it's him.

We will do fu*k all. Lampard needs money to spend.

Genuinely sick of not showing up and losing to the same teams, at the same grounds. We never get a nice surprise, ever.

forget the stats and all the missed chances, this squad is poor.

EMC and Asante, worst 2 buys this season.

Really trying to find some positives from tonight; we played good football in bursts and occasionally looked threatening going forward, but ultimately this is a team failing at the basics and fundementals of football. No confidence in key moments, truly amateurish defending and no flair, cohesion or passion. Pathetically easy to play against, just have a half-functioning defence and nothing will get through them, just have a shot on target and you'll score.

I already knew that January was going to be huge but right now I honestly think the only two players who shouldn't be replaced are Sakamoto and Wright, it feels like nothing less than a complete overhaul is going to make any difference.

I find Sheaf's performances pretty concerning to be honest. It's getting to the point where it's probably better if he didn't start.

Had chance to cash in pretty big money on him.

I can't see anyone paying anything major anymore. Plenty of injuries and now well put of form.

I feel for him, the idiots around him provide zero movement.

Well we got our usual result from the Hawthorns, and can't say I'm suprised. WB where more clinical in the final third.

There's a lot of work for FL to do with this "deck" and hopefully he's learnt something from tonight's performance, which did have it's positives tbf.

Collins can't be blamed for either of the goals tonight, but isn't a first choice keeper imo.
Lats isn't a starting CH either.
MvE needs a rest, we need something extra in midfield, and Sheaf still isn't at his best.
EMC looks out of his depth despite scoring 2 goals recently, and playing 1 striker up front isn't helping things as the ball doesn't stick. And although we had plenty of corners but didn't test the keeper.

We definitely miss Wright, and hopefully his return along with a couple of new faces in January will see us improve.

I can’t remember Collin’s having anything to do in all 94 minutes yet we lost 2-0

same old, one win papers over the cracks then it’s back to normal next game, has to have some help in January, we’re just so easy to play against,

What could Lampard tactically do there?

we should have won that comfortably

To be honest, he was the worst for it.
