I agree. My nephew did it last night so his friends could sit with them. They don't see it as rude they see it as seeing if they get lucky.Fans thinking they can sit where they want at matches regardless of the seat they have bought.
If there is somewhere at a home match you want to sit buy a season ticket there, if it’s an away Match buy the seat that you want.
You don’t get on a plane and sit where you fancy or go to a gig and sit / stand where you think you’ll get the best view …
Why do it at a football match then be offended when someone’s ask you to move out their seat ????
I go to about 10 a season. Normally me and a mate or my sons. We buy linked seats in one transaction.…how many away matches have you been to?
You never get a choice of seat. You just get allocated one. And unless you link accounts and buy multiple tickets in one transaction it’s impossible to get seats next to each other. It’s understandable why people move around.
Not difficult when you go with 1 or 2 people.I go to about 10 a season. Normally me and a mate or my sons. We buy linked seats in one transaction.

That might have been me.I agree. My nephew did it last night so his friends could sit with them. They don't see it as rude they see it as seeing if they get lucky.
Tried to explain to him some might find it intimidating to say your in my seat etc. but he's 18 and don't care quite frankly.
Found it funny last season when a couple told me I was in wrong seat even though it was my season ticket. Eventually they realised they had wrong block
True. It doesn’t give anyone the right to spoil someone else’s day to improve their own thoughIt is if you're in different point brackets
That might have been me.
Sorry if it was.

last night that lady had to argue to sit in her own seat ….
If it was spare then they were not asking anyone not to sit in their own seat were they … that’s fineWe did it last night
There was a spare seat next to us so instead of my cousin sat alone in block 22 he sat with us
Don't see the issue
Yea if you're in my seat you're moving , quite simple reallyFans thinking they can sit where they want at matches regardless of the seat they have bought.

Then sit in your allocated seat. Worst thing at away games is people standing in gangways in multiple numbers or turning up at 5 minutes to kick off wandering around trying to find a seat.…how many away matches have you been to?

Boo fucking hoo. Sit in your allocated seat, don't pinch someone else's and ruin their away day experience.
No one sits anyway.Boo fucking hoo. Sit in your allocated seat, don't pinch someone else's and ruin their away day experience.
My day - and those of lots of others is ruined by cunts standing where your seat is and refuse to move or even worse just stand in front of you. And I know no one sits, I meant seat.No one sits anyway.
If your day will be ruined by not standing in front of the seat number that matches the one printed on your ticket you probably need therapy.
Yep. Seen it myself a few times at away matches. Mentioned in the Watford thread. You buy a ticket, you stand or sit in the allocated seat.Has anyone ever had their awayday experience ruined by not getting their seat?
The stewards stopped us going to our block saturday, obviously because it was full, we had to just find any empty seats, it impacted my day not one jot.
There's easy solutions to these problems. If you're short/don't want to stand, go to the front, there's usually free spaces. My day - and those of lots of others is ruined by cunts standing where your seat is and refuse to move or even worse just stand in front of you. If you think it’s acceptable to stand in front of someone or to just stand where you want thus displacing the person who should be sitting/standing there, then you don’t need therapy, you’re just a c**t.
Happened at Watford to a lady and her young son. Two very tall blokes just stood in front of them so they couldn’t see. She had the balls to tell them to “fuck off” and luckily they did. Many don’t feel they can. I’ve been threatened myself for asking someone to not stand in front of me.
Agree regarding home games but how do you 'buy the seat you want' at an away match?Fans thinking they can sit where they want at matches regardless of the seat they have bought.

Standing and being flexible on seating is part of the away day experience. If you don't like it/can't deal with it, don't go.

I personally think away matches should be a free for all so elderly people who dont want to stand and families with smaller children can chose to sit at the front rather than stand all match.
If someone asks me to move at an away game, I will, because I'm not a knob. But unless you have a genuine reason to want a specific seat I think you should just get on with it and find another space if someone has taken yours. To be fair if you're in somebody's seat and they want to sit there , could be an old man an old lady etc , you move not them
Well if you have 2 or 3 people with you then you are going to sit in your seats aren't you , not move for somebody who wants to stand with his mateIf someone asks me to move at an away game, I will, because I'm not a knob. What if you are old? Or infirm? Can't stand for any long periods because of bad legs etc.No one sits anyway.

So by that logic if a bunch of 19yo lads want to sit in the seats they brought the infirm dad who cant stand for 90 mins and his 7yo son who cant see over adults should find their randomly allocated seats at the back of the stand? That's fine but that's not how it currently is so we have a mixture of people in and out of their own seats and there is the potential for frustration and or arguments isn't there ?
I'm of the opinion sure you stand somewhere you want but if somebody comes you respectfully move until every away ground becomes unreserved seating
I need to clarify my pointSo by that logic if a bunch of 19yo lads want to sit in the seats they brought the infirm dad who cant stand for 90 mins and his 7yo son who cant see over adults should find their randomly allocated seats at the back of the stand?
I know I have embellished the example to make it more clear but it can't be right that paying customers cant see the match or are forced to compromise their health by standing for 90 mins.
FFS. Are you for real? “If you’re short…”. Why should short people be shoved at the front? Where does it end? Who else do you think we should put down the front? There's easy solutions to these problems. If you're short/don't want to stand, go to the front, there's usually free spaces.
