In Leamington.

The best video is the one in the Colly. Lads all in their Cov suits, Sparky with the wig on and Jodi swinging his shirt in the air.

People bang on about the holy trail premier league and how they wish we were back there etc etc. You'd NEVER get things like that night from premier league clubs!
i would rather watch my team in the top competition week in week out than see them drinking in a nightclub personally

I wouldn't! The prem I a load of tosh! I'd much rather be competitive in the championship than have to pay £50 to watch us lose to Chelsea and Man City every week! A top 15 finish in the prem would be an achievement! You'd be happy with that just to see us play Liverpool? I wouldnt

I’ve noticed a lot more interaction between players and fans this season at every game. It’s brought them closer to the supporters and is building more spirit within the club.

Sad because I don't want to pay £50 sitting with 30k fake fans just to watch us scrape relegation season in season out?
There's a difference between watching us "at the top" and watching us play in the premier league! Yes, if some Arab billionaire came in and bought us out, bought the ground, fucked w***s off back to the smoke, bought Bale and Ronaldo and we challenged for the title/champions league spot etc, I would love it!
However, IF we ever got back to the prem without our billionaire we'd either a) get ourselves into millions of debt trying to compete b) fight relegation every season until the inevitable happens c) both of the above.
What's the point? Just so you can say you seen Liverpool at the Ricoh?
The prem is shit! Overpaid bunch of cunts and I have absolutely zero interest in it. The championship looks like a much better league this season! Some massive teams in there!

why do you keep bringing up liverpool? odd

you are basically saying you want glory of winning, but being in the top league is glory in itself and thats where i want ccfc to be, for me, for you,for the kids growing up and those yet to be born.

had we lost playoff semi and these guys had gone clubbing everyone would be slating them lol, enjoy the feelgood factor by all means but dont let it cloud your judgement, we are happy because we moved up the football league, lets not put a celing on it

It isn't about them clubbing, it's more about the interaction with the fans.

It isn't like they all went to some bars in Mayfair spending hundreds of thousands while they kick the poor people out, they all integrated with the fans. It makes normal people feel like the footballers are just normal people.

i agree it is great to see, someone said on a podcast the other day "it looks like robins has a no dickheads int he dressing room rule" and it certainly has played its part in this great season we have had. but my priority is ccfc and i would much rather have the club doing better than ever than be in lower leagues because players are more down to earth

like i said lets enjoy it now but lets not hope for ccfc to never return to the top

lol you are having a nightmare. go back to bed
Having a nightmare because I said Liverpool twice? You really are a strange man! Would you rather I said Man Utd? Is that it? It's odd because you were a Man U fan as a child?

Don't like CCFC? Or don't like the circus they call the Premier League? Are they both the same? If so then no, I clearly don't like CCFC!

Who wouldn’t want to watch their club play in a league with some of the worlds best players whilst their club raked in 100million every season for the pleasure of doing so ???

I guess it's about being competitive. We've had fun this season winning games and fighting hard. How often have we had that in the past 20 years? If we got to the Premiership (is it still called that?) then it would be back to losing every other week. Can't blame people for wanting to see winning football for the first time in decades really. I'd be happy for us to be in the top flight, but in modern day football if you don't have the money to spend, or do a Burnley, then it's just the odd upset to look forward to.

But like Burnley , 2/3 seasons in the premier league and they compete , they have managed their finances well and are now playing European football .
The premier league if approached correctly can set a club up financially for a long time these days

I agree with this, I go to watch my team and the players in our team. I don’t specifically go to watch what the opposition have in there side.

The players of the premier league are so far away from the fans watching it’s sad to see the disconnection, what we have here is totally the opposite.

Are you for real ??? You would deny the players a night of celebration after one of their best days on the pitch some of them are ever likely to experience ?
If they were on the lash together every week then Robins would have to step in & lay the law down. The fact that he told them to go out & celebrate should say everything to you ffs.... Days & nights like Monday come along very rarely. Make the best of it when it happens.

how have you taken that from my reply???

i said there is no way i would wish my team not to get promoted to the premier league just because the players would be less down to earth

where have i said they shouldnt celebrate?? or that its a bad thing???

Jesus h christ.. we just got promoted... our lads are interacting with the fans & enjoying life... we should be on top of the world, yet still half the threads on here are filled with our own fans trying to take snide digs at each other & find reason to argue

and dont blame the other one... if someone says something that you think you should rise to & argue, just forget it & let them sit there waiting for you to bite , rise above it and remember we JUST GOT PROMOTED!!!!! stay happy peeps

Its great to have players who you can see it actually means something to play for the club. Of course it would be great to be in the PL and challenging but its a totally different world. Seeing the way the players are with the fans, especially some of the kids, is really heartwarming.

It's about bonding. Think they want to get today (tonight!) out of the way, head for a beach and recuperate. Hopefully Doyle will have had a word with a few of them to make sure their wee comes out the right colour for pre-season!
