A bit of Ian McCulloch this morning. Strangely was never a E&TB fan but loved his solo stuff.

Just came across this new one from Alison Moyet.
She's at Warwick Arts centre this Nov, I may catch that.
I've got her solo album on vinyl from way back when somewhere and at least one Yazoo album.

Really like this, her voice is still as strong and unique ( if anything it's got even better )

I really love listening to classical music - but nice relaxing stuff, not like some of it. Anyhoos, I found a bloke on YouTube that plays the most beautiful piano music. His name is Yiruma. He's South Korean and started playing the piano aged just 5. He's now nearly 40. Incredible talent. If ever you feel like a total relax evening, give him a listen. Well worth it.

I'm not currently listening to it, but one of my favourite memories is driving a mustang through the Nevada desert and AC/DC Back In Black blaring on the classic American Rock station....

Love Canned Heat... but tonight I'm listening to Jefferson Airplane's Surrealistic Pillow whilst having a drink etc. Really like Grace Slick's voice on White Rabbit. Takes me back to my university days.

I'm currently listening to the twats that live opposite me who spend every waking minute stood in their front gardens talking so loud you can hear them all over the estate.

That and the latest Royal Blood tune.
