A band on this thread I've seen live!
Blimey well they have been touring sadly without the original lead singer - and the guitarist bless his heart is not quite up to it as a lead singer but the old guitar effects are brilliant on all the old albums including Mudanzas and Saturday Morning Pictures - All around the world on the first album is a cracker

Coldplay - A Rush of Blood to the Head. Must be about 15 years old now.
My lad bought me this album one Christmas. I wasn't a fan of their music but some great tracks on it. Clocks and The Scientist are classics. Since then I bought a few of their albums, their debut Parachutes is a cracker. I'm a rock fan but Coldplay are a good band.

Been watching a series on sky arts, soundtracks: songs that defined history. A tough watch at times, but some great songs.

Heard this on Hillz fm last week
Originally written and performed by the Overtones
This girl I believe is local to our area
When it came on through the car speakers I literally thought it was Adele, not so much through my phone though
Anyhow a Hillz plug here, I think the local chart is on Wednesday nights
There is also a great presenter on I think from 7:00 am
He's mature, plays a great eclectic blend and is a font of knowledge re old 60s and 70s artists, members and writers
Pretty sure you'd like his style and play lists BBR.

I know I am always pushing the Grandaddy boat out there, but this bloke, Jason Lytle, the Grandaddy's front man, is so talented and I think this piece is just so stunningly beautiful.

It deserves to be shared and listened to by the entire world I think.

The one with the crime stories sketch where Demari Grays son is getting bullied?
Was pissing myself.
Bob Mortimer is amazing, do you listen to Top flight time machine Clint? Andy Dawson and Sam Delaney do it, it started as a retrospective look at the beginning of the premier league . But rapidly changed some of Sam Delaney’s stories are amazing . Give it a listen if you haven’t already

Can't stand the commentary of Jonathan Pearce on BBC so watching the England women match with sound turned down, and listening to Creed instead of listening to him mumbling on !
