This is class. Worth a viewing and a listening. Prince absolutely kills it.

Try the undertaker album. Probably his best guitar album. Or check the live concert videos when he really let's go. Saw him at the o2 in 2007? Mainly main hits but a great 2 hour show. Again a few years later in Vienna. Another great show

Came back in after half day work because of the bloody rain again. But one album lifts my mood even though it's basically a blues album, and that's Fire And Water by Free. Love every track and it never ages.
What record lifts your mood ?
Any Pink Floyd album! And I mean ANY! Love 'em all!

Only got one Pink Floyd on vinyl, and was listening to it yesterday. RELICS. Still sounds good and no scratches on it ! See Emily Play one of my favourites, and Arnold Layne plus a few others on the album.
That was the 2nd album of theirs that I ever bought BBR. My first one was "Meddle". I now have pretty much everything they done on CD. Haven't got any vinyl anymore. Had hundreds of albums and a few thousand singles nicked many years ago, and never got round to replacing them. My biggest loss was my boxed collection of Queen albums. Had it for a Christmas present and it was nicked by January! Worth £££hundreds now. (Stock photo below) All I have left is a photo of me opening the present!

I borrowed a neighbour who is a rock music fan a few CDs and one of them was the Best Of Canned Heat, which I told him to look after as it's a favourite of mine.
Anyway he came round upset a couple of weeks ago saying his flat had been burgled, and it was left trashed etc. He said they'd also taken his CD player and CDs. I told him not to worry as he was in a bit of a state as CDs can be replaced. Anyway he's moved away but came round saying he'll get me the Canned Heat album from HMV this week. Decent bloke but the scum bags who broke in made a right mess of his flat, so much so he couldn't face going back there. Told him don't worry about a CD but he's determined to get me it.

Relics was an odd record as it was priced so cheaply - had great songs like see Emily play and Arnold Layne and an odd recording of Careful with that axe Eugene - the quality was slightly off and if turned up seems to distort - better on Umma Gumma - got all Floyds vinyls upto Pulse then onto disc - strangely I don’t find the Gilmour solo albums as good as the waters ones . I loved the exhibition in the V&A with headphones on !

I agree! Class act! Seen this many years ago and still love it! It's great that George Harrisons mates from the Travelin' Wilburys were playing. Jeff Lynne and the late, great Tom Petty. Good ol' Roy Orbison had passed away and Bob Dylan was probably too busy, but I love 'em all anyway!

One the many Beatles compositions that are just brilliant songs - i class myself as a rock fan but I still love a lot of the Beatles stuff !
