The WBA game in question was televised. Was anyone shown on the TV regarding the COH wobbler? Personally I can believe it as he came across as the type that would
@Saddlebrains is correct re WBA game, he got hooked at HT and didn't take it well, that I know - cant comment on rest but makes sense. He was awful that night as well.

So summarising so far, we can choose between:-

a) MR and AV fell out over a newspaper interview
b) AV had an affair with someone in or related to the club
c) Dennis Lawrence left and wasnt replaced adequately
d) Poor signings
e) O'Hare and Palmer left for various reasons in less than savoury manners
f) AV left for disciplinary reasons based upon bullying young players.
g) Doctor Claire has caused havoc with her methods
h) No leadership on the pitch
i) Injuries and burnout to key players

Anything I have missed, as I am confused?

I think it was Eccles who said it took the team a month to get over the cup semi, which basically accounts for every game from Birmingham onwards.

Agree

Agree with all of that mate. It was a chain reaction of events from all parties that has destroyed all the hard work of the last 7 years
This is what I think is key and why I don’t like to see individuals singled out. If there is one key event to my mind it is the MR/AV situation.

While I can understand DK is probably not likeable personably is actions have been largely positive, although not always popular.

These things happen. We’ve had some bad luck. What matters is if King has the leadership skills to steer the club forward.

I agree, I think King has made many errors which have compounded our current situation, (which isn't that bad given some of our recent history), but that fall out was, as you say, the key event.

In certain quarters he could be seen as a soft case, because in retrospect he could have jettisoned the whole coaching team if any of this is true.
I mean I can remember suggesting very early on this season suggesting he should get compo paid and stop dragging things on because I felt there was the impression of this going on in the background.
Not a slight on anyone but cheaper and earlier tbf.
