The Jubilee was my local for a few years. Didn't live that close, but it was where people found me if they wanted me. Saw some sights in there. This does not include with the busts that went on occasionally. Was handy for warming up before hitting town. Also good for match days. 10 min walk if fit enough to walk.
Had a drink in the Shire Horse a fair few times but although I lived close to it for a few years nobody I drank with went in there so only went in for a quick couple each time.
Can anyone recommend a good place tio watch football in town? I am trying to find somewhere new to go to. I am looking for a good friendly atmosphere, good beer, good screens and plenty of seating in view of the screen/s.
In the past I have gone to Campbell, Aardvark, Oak, Mortimers and Rileys. Can anybody suggest anywhere else?
Is the Casino any good? Will it be busy tomorrow night for the Cov game?

Good shout on the pound a drink for the game tonight if the offers on. Me and some lads were going to go to the Campbell, but we'll pop in there now for sure.
My local is the Bulls Head on Binley Road, Cheap pint in there, Carlsberg is less than £2 in there. They've recently just got rid of their Sky though. Their trying to turn it into more of a family pub then a locals pub i think.
Grew up in the Bricklayers arms (brickies) Great little locals pub.
