Good question actually. I don't know. I know that conference clubs start off VERY low, talking 10th tier of football, but idk about FL clubs. Probably never happened before

When Wimbledon reformed they started 5 levels below the Conference, that would put us in the Midland Football Alliance. Basically the same division as the Sphinx.

At the highest level that has a vacancy and that we meet the entry criteria for-that is, ground and financial criteria.

I believe the same threat is facing Portsmouth, in fact the administrator bloke puts the chances at 50/50. The Pompey fans have set up a commitee or action group and will legally challenge any attempt to dump a re-formed Portsmouth out of the Football League. They say re-starting in Division 2 is a viable option and all the FL need do is promote a fifth team from division 2 into division 1. We may have to follow the Pompey group. I believe the Wimbledon one is different as the old Wimbledon was re-named and then moved to Milton Keynes, old Wimbledon fans started a new club AFC Wimbledon literally on park pitches and the rest is history, an absolute miracle was done there and should be made into a movie.

AFC W a miracle indeed. Mucho respect for all involved.

We would re-start in League 1 assuming it was done fast enough.

How could we restart in the same division we are in now? We would not even have a club or players. We would not exist.

Starting again would be a new start, but some of the questions are what as, where would we play, who with and even what name. Not a quick fix. All this could not be done during the closed season. We would be without a club for a whole season. Even if we flew through the divisions we would be without a league club for a few years at least.

We would need to know the terms of the contract for the Ricoh. If this debt for the remaining years for the Ricoh would have to be paid if we were liquidated before SISU got any money then they would not liquidate us. There are more questions than answers at the moment. Some would not be able to be answered unless the worse happened.

I was assuming that someone would buy the 'assetts' of the club as liquidators have to do all they can for the club. Assetts include players, exsisting agreements, and goodwill.
