Dont suppose the Cup Winners Cup still exists does it! Lol
Perhaps we get the changing rooms repainted!
Still - A day out at Wembley would be great (Perhaps a warm up for the Play-offs)

My mate works for Carlisle who won it a couple of years back and he said it was close to a million once tv, gate receipts, prize money etc is all taken into account.

So lets be conservative and assume its £500k for winning JPT added to the £300k received for Arsenal game and the upcoming £250k for Spurs match thats over £1m in income that will not have been budgeted for and is in fact a bonus. Yet club still says it cannot afford reduced rent (gap is approx 150k so thats 7 years difference paid for) nor to sign players without getting others off wage bill. Still ambition is a dirty word for some owners.

Assuming we get to the Arch what crowd would we realistically take with us assuming 80,000 capacity

Teams are only allowed 40k which is very acheivable for City I feel

so total attendance depends if you get Yeovil who'd maybe bring 15k meaning 55k total or an Oxford type team possibly brining 30k-40k also meaning 70k-80k.

FA and League cup final teams only get 25k tickets nowadays, the rest is given to the Prawn sandwich brigade :facepalm: $$$

The southern semi finalists are Oxford, Southend, Leyton Orient and Yeovil

But and a big but, we have to beat Preston first, then a two legged (home and away) section final first.

It may involve ticket sales as well, I'd say about 250-350k is the worth of the JPT.

Jan. it's posts like this that make me reconsider my SBT membership. You should know that the club has never claimed poverty for the rent negotiations, but fairness. You should also know that the club budgeted for a loss over well over the estimated £1m bonus so there would still be no money.

Recent outbursts by the SBT seem to be confirming my initial concerns that its just a Sisu moan shop. I don't think I'll be renewing my membership. If honestly hoped for a balanced organisation representative of *all* fans. But I see its sky blue coffins and Sisu Out all the way. Shame.
