Dont suppose the Cup Winners Cup still exists does it! Lol
Perhaps we get the changing rooms repainted!
Still - A day out at Wembley would be great (Perhaps a warm up for the Play-offs)

40k apparently.

So i think its more a day out incentive, than financial :thinking about:

I'm sure that I read that if you win the cup, and take everything into account, it's worth £500k to the club.

£5,000 (first round), £7,000 (second round), £10,000 (area quarter-final), £17,000 (area semi-final), £25,500 (area final), £40,000 (winners).

Thats how much you win for each round

Is that all the rounds added together? Cus I just googled it, and saw the winner gets 40K

I guess it's how much of the attendance money at Wembley they get is the key.

Added to all of that would be merchandise sales - please tell me that Cov get that money and that doesnt go to the bloody council too!
Day out at Wembley for us brow beaten Sky Blue fans could bring them in a fortune in merchandise money!
On top of that it keeps the winning momentum going.
Success breeds sucess.

Suddenly this JPT is sounding good. For the first time in the history of CCFC we are actually favourites to win a trophy too! Can we handle the pressure of not being expected to lose?

My mate works for Carlisle who won it a couple of years back and he said it was close to a million once tv, gate receipts, prize money etc is all taken into account.

Thats the rent paid then.

For the next 5 years.

If we sell as many as people on here have predicted then the gate reciepts should come to a fair bit, ticket prices are guaranteed to be extortionate.

Luton won it in 2009 definately got Johnstones in to repaint all the woodwork, I remember the photos in the local press :claping hands:

Chris Martin (mentioned on another thread earlier) played and scored a peach.

Great day out despite the £7 burgers :thinking about:the FA sell scarves, t-shirts and other well over priced stuff too,

I remember Mawhinney got a good booing when he came out on the pitch to meet the teams, months after the -30 points decision, Sky dubbed over it apparently, but its on You tube ;)

Rather than the FA Cup winners vs the Prem winners in the charity shield I think they should have a four team tournament... Prem, FA Cup, League Cup, JPT.

Either that or have a one off match between JPT winners and League Cup winners for the Europa league place :)

So lets be conservative and assume its £500k for winning JPT added to the £300k received for Arsenal game and the upcoming £250k for Spurs match thats over £1m in income that will not have been budgeted for and is in fact a bonus. Yet club still says it cannot afford reduced rent (gap is approx 150k so thats 7 years difference paid for) nor to sign players without getting others off wage bill. Still ambition is a dirty word for some owners.

Teams are only allowed 40k which is very acheivable for City I feel

so total attendance depends if you get Yeovil who'd maybe bring 15k meaning 55k total or an Oxford type team possibly brining 30k-40k also meaning 70k-80k.

FA and League cup final teams only get 25k tickets nowadays, the rest is given to the Prawn sandwich brigade  $$$

The southern semi finalists are Oxford, Southend, Leyton Orient and Yeovil

But and a big but, we have to beat Preston first, then a two legged (home and away) section final first.

Jan. it's posts like this that make me reconsider my SBT membership. You should know that the club has never claimed poverty for the rent negotiations, but fairness. You should also know that the club budgeted for a loss over well over the estimated £1m bonus so there would still be no money.

Recent outbursts by the SBT seem to be confirming my initial concerns that its just a Sisu moan shop. I don't think I'll be renewing my membership. If honestly hoped for a balanced organisation representative of *all* fans. But I see its sky blue coffins and Sisu Out all the way. Shame.

Think we all agree that progressing to a final is a good thing. More money and more importantly a cup and a new insert in the matchday programme under the heading "honours won".

Cov 10/3 favs at the mo

SISU lump 1 million on Cov winning...Give Forest 100k loan fee for McG for the rest of the season, and tell McG he will get a million signing on fee in the summer if we win JPT.

:claping hands:
