presume you are talking about me?
Well I suggest you join the Trust then come to a meeting sit down with our Accountant and Book keeper, they will tell you to the penny how much is in both accounts.
1) I pay for my own fuel via my company.
2) All banners and leaflets are donated free of charge.
3) No idea what your talking about regarding a Newspaper spread
3) Me Silent, you do not know me, am never quiet
We are very tranparent, if you join the Trust I will meet you at the open meeting with other members on Sept 2nd where anyone can ask anything they wish.
Let me just clarify my fuel costs. I said they are paid 'via my company' which is by means of a company fuel card that fills my car with fuel each and every week, I then re-imburse the company for my private mileage!!! But the point I was making is that none of the trust board claim any fuel costs from the Trusts fighting fund!!!!!

Glad you didn't clarify to start with though.
Some of the outraged responses were really very amusing.
I must've missed those.
If you mean me - I can assure you I was perfectly calm & at ease with it. When we read, we perceive a tone - if you did mean me...you chose to perceive outrage.
I was just teasing
To be honest, I thought the whole thread was ridiculous.
I think I have my serious head on today ;-)
It is true though that power corrupts, & equally as ones power or influence grows...one becomes more prominent & others seek to seize opportunities to cut one down to size. I meant no harm, & hope Steve chooses words VERY carefully in future. Surprised PSGM (or whatever he is calling himself now) didn't latch on before me...& I suspect he does mean harm!

Let me ask yoiu a few questions?
Regardless of the money and jokes about runing off into the sunset, what do you want?
Please do not take it the wrong way, just want to hear what you actually want to happen?
I am part of the Trust and like you just an avarage fan, no great mind or anything special but I am a member and joined as I felt that as one voice we are nothing, but with 100 voices we start to get louder.
We need the Trust and need opinions, we need to get help in getting our voice accross.
The March showed how we felt, the Charity game showed our strength.
All I am asking is rather than jokingly comment about money why not help us get the Trust to start thinking football and ways of getting this club and its football back to Coventry before its to late?
We do not have the answers but with a decent amount of support and with one voice we can a least search for some.
ask joy for a few tips. perhaps.Unless they disband/liquidate the trust. If they are clever enough to get 5000 people to donate at least £1 each then I am sure they can work a way ro get away with the cash.
We can sit in the middle, get information from both sides, make it available and allow people to make up their own minds without PR spin put on everything
Jan, forgive me for jumping on one little quote
Anyway, FWIW I always like your posts, always respected your efforts and your openness to listen to all sides, and generally how you phrase things tallies with what I'd hope and expect from a trust... I also understand well that you can have a personal view that may be more hardline, but that doesn't affect the public statements or the official trust position, and respect the fact you keep that to one side as much as possible for the greater good.
So I'll get the patronising personal view out the way first
I do struggle with the bit I've taken out though. As I said, I read your posts/statements etc. and they do indeed come across as you say happens above.
The Trust statements however do, to me, seem somewhat schizophrenic! I could pick up (and will, if you want) a fair few statements that are anything but sitting in the middle without spin! And these statements kind of undermine what you say above, and runs the risk that 'sitting in the middle' is viewed with suspicion, as being not the genuine view or genuine desire of the trust. The shizophrenic nature, in short, erodes trust in the trust in my view, stops the trust being able to fulfill its role as well as possible, denies it a voice at times where it could maybe have a voice when others aren't able to speak.
Moving forward, have there been any discussions about how a more consistent message can be relayed and, if so, what was the result of those discussions?
I can see what you mean, Steve and Jan seem to listen and talk and clear up any queries etc but then other people put across a different impression. Also I am not sure on who it is that sends the newsletters or does the statements but it could be a case of it being somebody else who is a bit trigger happy.
One minute Jan will come up and say that the Trust are on the fence and balanced (which is how they should be as much as they can) and then a newsletter is sent out basically saying "SISU OUT", "Timmy Fisher" etc.
we all know this is a nonsense. there are 2 people who have the power to make this happen and now SISU have moved first and got another ground then its up to ACL/CCC to go to them and swallow their pride and sell it to them or at least offer free rent for this season and talk in the mean time. I don't see the big deal with sisu owning our ground as we are ccfc I wouldn't say its a massive shock that a football club owns its on stadium. thick, stubborn people that's the problem.
why should they they offered a good deal SISU refused it
Because it would help the team you support maybe?
