At least fans going into Sixfields are contributing to the club - and because of numbers not helping to keep.
I, and those on the hill, aren't contributing a bean to the club we support.

@ Moff......Why didn't you quote ALL of what was said in my post?.My point was, Someone "Having a go" at the group not doing enough yet other fans going into Sixfields to watch the game(As is their right) and doing Fuck all....That attitude, imho is, "I cba but will let you do all the work to get Coventry back in the City"
Ok Torch, agreed, but what are those going in to Sixfields doing to help get the club playing back at the Ricoh? I wont ever stand on the hill but the ones that do believe/are bringing a bit coverage to our cause. Im afraid contributing to the club with such low gates is not going to do anything it would appear either way. There are lot of people knocking those that are protesting yet I do not see any contructive ideas.
I honestly don't think the low number of fans going in to Sixfields will make the slightest difference in potential timescales of retrning to the Ricoh. If there were 7K every game then it might be a different story, but its not.

Remind us again of the company who charged us stupid amounts of rent with no income and refused to lower it and only started to budge slightly when it looked like the club were moving out?The rent had, and has nothing to do with it. The 'excessive rent' was only equivalent to the value squandered on the wages of players who, for seasons, have added little to the stock of the club, namely such as Wood, McSheffrey and/or Bell. Players SISU gave contracts to. Or pay-offs for managers they appointed.
Notwithstanding this, the entire rent sums accrued in SISU's entire 5 years at the club were less than 10% of the overall debt level claimed whilst entering administration.
When will you understand; SISU have made a gamble with CCFC that has gone terribly wrong? They want out, and they want a return. The only thing that can sugar-coat their exit strategy is the Ricoh; an asset they didn't pay for. They need another party's asset to get them the pay off they need.
The rent; had it been £1.2m or £0.2m made no different whatsoever.
It was excessive, yes. But it's irrelevant to SISU's strategy. It's just their excuse for the inexcusable. For God's sake wake up and recognize that fact
I think PWKH last said that SISU had moved on...
you close the thread on wheres SISU yet this one runs cant see the point in either myself
No I won't delete my account, so you'll have to ban me. There are others on this forum who are nothing but sarcastic WUM's.(Grenduffy, summerisle,Torchy, covcity4life, to name but a few) People like these, are the reason the CET forum was closed down a couple of years ago, and GMK is going the same way.(None of which I've been a member, but used to read posts) Decent, honest posters are going to be driven from this forum. ie- Astute, PWKH to name but two. Come on Nick "Do your worst"
sisu are scum why should they get something for nothing. do you ?i bloody hope they get the stadium for next to nothing then we can all go back to Cov!! FFS!
sisu are scum why should they get something for nothing. do you ?
This one at least has a valid discussion from all sides which is why it has stayed.
sisu are scum why should they get something for nothing. do you ?
think about the coventry taxpayer they should get value for money SISU pay the market price end ofI didnt say nothing did I? for me the only exit strategy for SISU is to get the ground and then sell it off for a profit. They will not sell at a massive loss so if they get the ground for next to nothing which was what the earlier poster was alluding to then i have no issue with that, it solves a problem for all concerned and gets us back in Coventry.
Even with your hatred for SISU, you couldnt disagree that this is a good solution??

cant see that slagging other posters off is valid the argument is faulty the post should be closed you may note i have stopped slagging other posters so should we all
Nick...Do you mean people who have different opinions to you? Does it tell you something about yourself if it is ALL forums and you?///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////You let sarcastic arseholes get away with "Blue Murder" on this forum. I've got nothing against posters having another opinion to mine, and I welcome healthy debate, however, 90% of what posters like Grenduffy, Torchy, covcity4life, and summerisle have to say is "Worthless, sarcastic, personal attacks of shite. summerisle started on Astute with his sarcastic shit for no reason! Has anything been done about that???? My guess is "Fuck all" Get your priorities right or this BIG forum will dwindle to nothing.
i hear you and i would agree if it meant the end of sisu, it's just got to the point where even hearing their name makes me angry. Sorry covstu, you make a good point .I didnt say nothing did I? for me the only exit strategy for SISU is to get the ground and then sell it off for a profit. are you really bothered about the Ricoh without ccfc there, I couldn't care if it rotted away. I don't understand this "it belongs to the city of Coventry" or "its a key Coventry asset". Without a football club it's a pointless building.I have to agree, I never want SISU/OTIUM getting the stadium, the stadium belongs to the City of Coventry as multi event venue and finally brought a little prosperity to the North side of the City. On the other hand I do agree that ACL cannot charge such high rent. Now, ACL have said they can live without the football club in regards to revenue streams thus ACL should charge as little rent as possible 100k/50k who cares and let the club have 100% matchday revenue. The City as a whole (thus the council) will benefit more from having the club in Coventry than not.

Pm me if you have an issue... don't you understand that?

as someone alluded to earlier I think the only way we'll get rid of sisu is for them to get the Ricoh and sell us as the whole package. Without the ground ccfc is pretty much worth diddly squat. Tbh I think we'd struggle to find an owner who isn't in it for themselves and are willing to throw money at ccfc for the love of football.I didnt say that, I agree without a football club its a little pointless hence it was built for Coventry City, our new home thus I do not need another ground built. I do not however want SISU to own it, the ground benefits more people than just the football club or its fans, thats a fact, you might not have any other interest in it but others do. Also I wouldnt just hand the ground to any new owner on a plate, prove that they have the best interests of the club, fans and the wider community and unfortunately SISU have yet to do that.

who told you this, was it our gaz and Mr Coventry? You're wrong, Preston Haskell has got a CCFC tattoo such is his love for the club. The Ricoh is only a passing interest. It's always been CCFC for him, he has never looked at anybody else.
