Problem we've got is, we're on the Bedrock & Nuneaton Supporters Coach. Still not been announced where it will drop us yet, as they've been told they cant drop at the usual spot.
If we get dropped anywhere near the ground, we're fucked for a drink unless we risk the Roost.

aren't they taking 3 coaches? That's a lot of people for the Roost to accommodate.

Yep, 2 from Beduff and 1 from Nuneaton. So that's 150ish straight away.

The Roost is a big enough place but I can't see it coping being the only Cov pub and allowing the Bluenose regulars too.

I had an email from the Roost as had booked on their coach. They will drop off as usual at the pub, then the bus has to park with the rest of the Coventry coaches and leave straight home after. Also I think someone on the door has a counter and when it reaches maximum you won't get in.

We normally go straight to and from St Andrews. Having more company on Saturday, we had planned to tip the hat to our Irish heritage and wander round Digbeth researching which pub served the best pint of Guinness! We’ll probably go to The Shakespeare near New St now. Hopefully it’ll be more relaxed after the game so we can get our Guinness. We also fancied trying food at Digbeth Dining Club.

Police announced yesterday that only the Roost will be accepting Cov fans.

I predict big problems getting a beer near the ground.

Where did you see that? Nothing on the CCFC or BCFC police twitter accounts. That would be surprising and annoying in equal measure.

I've just sent emails to the Woodman, Digbeth Dining Club, Digbrew, the Spotted Dog and Dead Wax Digbeth (which I am assuming is the renovated Wagon & Horses) RE their stance for Cov & Blues fans. Will let everyone know if I hear back from any of them.

long time since we had 10k at an 'away' match - 8k at MK ? 11 k at Manure - others ?
Yeah but it’s a “home game”!

My heads a wobble with where to go. I'll be on my own so i'll probably just head the Shakespeare and blend in there!

We go in The George just off the corner of the ground. Spoke to the landlady last home game and she said although it was a blues pub, they had a downstairs room that they would open up for Cov fans

If you aren’t wearing colours and aren’t being a dick I highly doubt you’ll have any trouble getting in the pubs in Digbeth) or from blues fans). Have been around there on Saturdays before with matches on and never seen any aggro.

There’s always the odd prat of course.

Can't see Birmingham fans being happy with us crowding in some of the main pubs especially after the game haha

I work in Birmingham and finishing at 12 tomorrow, my plan was to head to the Digbeth dining club, get a drink, have a bite to eat then head up the match. Should be able to get a decent parking spot as I'll be arriving around 12.15.
