What's going on with what used to be the Peugeot site at Ryton?
lots of warehouses and distribution centres
Great question Dave but the only person who would know is RFC, he no doubt will come on shortly with another fascinating insight.
I would very politely just wish to correcect you, don't attempt to put words into my mouth.
I'm sure a few know but like me are honourable and trustworthy and would under no circumstances divulge.
You'll know soon enough!

March 2019 alright by us all?
if its not in Coventry they can stick it up their arse, but like others have said it will never be built hence the constant legal action by our wanky owners
the new stadium committee was told in June the location of the new ground, rumour at the time was close to the A46 South warwickshire, not far from leek wooton by the warwickshire golf club, they wanted somewhere to expand the fan base, ( not sure I believe that's possible, but it,s closer to Warwick leamington and kenilworth, not being in coventry won't go down too well
At least there's a nice hill by Gaveston Cross for us to watch from.

It can't be at ryton on dunsmore at the old Peugeot site as too much has been just built there in it's place.
What about next to the old Dunlop factory not far from the Ricoh . Is there not lots of derelict land there just ready for redevelopment ? Far too sensible for our owners.

The WUM is strong in this one.
Seriously though, I do know 100% where the new stadium is - it's inside Mr Fisher's head.

It will be built at the Gallagher retail park. They have already begun to move in . Over the next 20 years they will buy up all the units, the freehold, knock the frontages out and put seats in. The CCFC shop is where the new changing rooms will be. The central parking area will be replaced with a new pitch which will slide out to allow for concerts, sports events etc. Two new stands will be built. the whole stadium will hold around 75,000 . It will be called Highfield 2040.
I heard the club were having talks with Warwick University, there is plenty of land which currently has numerous cricket , football and Rugby pitches amongst other pitches adjacent to the main University, this inmo is the only land big enough to house such a development.
The University is intent on becoming a big hitter "already a top 5-6 Univesity in this country" it wants world wide recognition, and has massive links with TATA and many other huge organisations worldwide.
Infrustrucure is currently unsuitable, but rumors persist about a new road being built to join the A45 around the back of Canley, making the Tile Hill railway station extremely convenient for a new ground, as the crow flies it would be around two miles.
Also the potential site is Warwickshire county council not Coventry, so may be workable, please don't shoot the messenger, do I think it's a starter ? Probably not ! did I think they would go to Six fields ? Definately not !
But I'm assured talks of some nature took place regarding CCFC and TUOW
