Where is Kevin Malaga? (1 Viewer)

Is he confirmed as injured? I must admit I have only seem him play a couple of times but he seemed assured in defence and a big threat going forward.

Surely if he is fit, he isn't bad enough to not even make the bench?

Someone said on another thread that he's being paid 7.5k a month. Seems a bit of a luxury if we're not going to play him. Looks half decent from what I've seen

i thought he had a lot of potential from what i have seen of him. We need someone with some strength at the back who has decent distribution!!

If it was such an issue that he doesn't speak Much English (I wouldn't say he can't speak any English, as most people abroad know even the basic English, especially when seeking work over here), why can't he play along side Edge? Surely it's important the centre backs talk to each other and if need be, they could converse In French if they needed to? If there's two CB's this season who have played well, it's these two!

£7.5k a week for a free transfer? I seriously don't think so!!

Who knows. Someone suggested to me the club offered £8k a week to Clingan if he stayed and if we got promoted it would with bonuses equate to £10k a week.

It wouldn't surprise me. Allegedly there have been 2 clubs who wanted to sign Clingan and they offered less than us!

Either way I think we will be paying pretty good money to League 1 players. The squad is bloated now and it's a worry.

He's on 7.5k per MONTH, not per week! As is Edge. That's about 2k per week, which is certainly a L1 wage.

Coventry City have placed defender Kevin Malaga on the transfer list.
The Frenchman joined from Nice in the summer and although he has impressed the City support, he has not a look in with the first team since the Sheffield United home game back in August and his only games have been for City U21's.

Malaga (pictured above) has a three year contract but appears not to be in Mark Robins plans.
