The difference is you and ii know Keogh is for sale regardless of signing or not ,We will sell whoever is of value.

Edit ;Like Turner.

Yes he is. Westwood was as well. He stuck it out. Keogh would as well if his agent tells him that is the best course of action. He is unlikely to get a better deal as a free agent so he will be off.

How could they stop the contracts expiring? Westwood wanted free agent status. Even if the club had managed to sell him they would have been lambasted for not letting him go on a free as they are now with Keogh. What would you do if someone will not negotiate?
King was a gift for a season purely due to boothroyd.
Gunnarson again was never going to sign his agent was looking for pastures new.
Clingan? When did he last sign a contract extension with an existing club?

I'd have sold them all and I would sell Keogh if he doesn't sign a new contract. At least we managed to offload Tabb and Best to recoup some money. I'd have kept Juke until the end of last season and sold him now.

Yes King is a special case but he is still a player we lost and needed replacing, and in hindsight we should have offered a 2 year contract to when he first signed for us.

Players who have let their contract expire once, tend to keep on doing it.

1 year with an option of a further year would have been fairer all round.
