In the likely event that we don't go up, who would you prefer to:

1. Go up to the PL
2. Get relegated to L1
3. Get promoted from L1

1. Burnley, Leeds and Sunderland
2. Cardiff, Plymouth, Luton
3. (Birmingham), Bolton, Stockport

1) Sheffield United and Burnley
2) Luton, Derby and Cardiff
3) Birmingham, Wrexham, Stockport

The last 2 purely because there’d be new grounds for me which are a rarity for me these days

Wrexham I've got with for the newness and Stockport is the closest ground to where I live, I've been before. It'd also be a class away day as plenty of decent pubs in the town.

Leeds, Burnley, Sunderland (hospital pass)
Derby, Cardiff, Luton
Birmingham, Wycombe, Charlton

Not necessarily what I’d bet on happening and in the case of Blues, wish it wasn’t happening

1. Leeds, Burnley,

Then I genuinely don't know - If we missed out and Bristol City, Baggies or Boro snuck in and went up I would be gutted, as it would feel like such a missed opportunity if 3rd/4th completely fumbled their play off campaigns and one of the team(s) who got in instead of us went up - Other side of the coin, I fucking cannot stand either of Sheff U or Sunderland and it would annoy me to see either of them happy - Although it is a testament to how much I can't stand Chris Wilder and his squad of footballers that I would probably want Sunderland to win a Sheff U v Sunderland final

2. Luton, Stoke and Oxford - Won't happen but three SHITE away days gone in one

3. (Brum)

Torn between Wrexham and Wycombe for autos as I have not seen us play at The Racecourse in years, but they would be unbearable and possibly a bit of a threat if they come up - flip it round I find Wycombe quite likeable, but I can't stand going to the ground

Charlton for the play-offs, I don't mind them as a club, they've had their struggles like us and it is one of my favourite grounds/away trips

Down to L1
Cardiff, Luton, Hull

Up to Champ

They are shite aways days but at least they're local shite away days!
Would rather see Cardiff and Hull go.

Up - Burnley, Leeds and Bristol City - first two to get rid of two horrible teams to play and Bristol City as they'd be a bit of an underdog

Down - Cardiff, Hull, Luton - would like Derby to go down, but also nice to still have a local(ish) rivalry

3. Birmingham, Bolton, Wycombe - Wish Birmingham weren't already up. Wrexham fans will be unbearable, but I'd also quite like an away day there. We always seem to be Wycombe's bogey team, so they can come up

Promoted - Leeds, Burnley, Middlesbrough (crap northern towns)
Relegated - Hull, Preston, Stoke (see above)
L1 - Birmingham, Charlton, Leyton Orient (I can do all these away days)

Surprised anybody wants Bristol/Boro/Sunderland - I don't want anybody else getting on the parachute payments gravy train, will only make it harder the more teams that have it.

I'm all in on the make the championship easier next year:

1. Burnley, Leeds, Sheff U (will be very strong next year if they don't go up)
2. Luton, Derby, Hull (most likely to sort their shit out if they stay up)
3. Stockport, Reading (will be useless if they come up)

I used to virtually live in the Nursery Inn in Stockport in the early 2000's

Leeds/Burnley.....Sheffield United
Don't want another club EG Bristol City/Sunderland getting the millions in the back to set themselves up.
Sunderland have thrown a bit of money at this season - may affect what they do next year - keep them down.

2. Luton (see above) Cardiff and Stoke

3. Bham (as it’s done) Wycombe (wd love Wrexham to fail) and Stockport (so I can walk to an away ground for the first time since 2001)

Be interesting to see Wrexham deal with actual PSR rules and teams with lot more money than they are playing now (blue noses obviously the outlier).

The could do alright but their model of buying aging playings from the league above after a payday would be a lot more expensive and they'd need a better manager.

Parkinson is a real dinosaur manager, I’m surprised he’s still there really.

See this article on the bbc yesterday. Ahead of the Easter games every single Championship club could still get either promoted or relegated or both.

Just to clarify this as well, it's not that every club in the Championship can be relegated or promoted. Leeds cannot be relegated.

It's that all 24 clubs have the option of potentially being relegated or the can potentially go up, not both.

If that makes sense!

I went once when we had about half the ground I reckon. What was the name of that TV programme that featured a bunch of Stockport fans ? I seem to remember it was quite good ?
