was nice to see so many kids at ground yesterday and all having fun. some kids get that every saturday at other clubs. thats what we should strive for.

Yep. Saw lots of kids last night. There's the next generation right there.

They will have come away buzzing and probably now hooked.

depends if we win. the 3 kids behind me were about 11 or 12 and even they could see how bad the football was. they were sighing every 2 seconds with long ball after long ball going nowhere in 2nd half. had we not won they would probably not be chomping at bit to come back.

There are kids at most matches, last night shows how they still enjoy it and love CCFC even if it's League 1 and not Champions League.

The youngsters like that at the kids party have been the consistency, fair play to them all!

are you gonna apologise for being rude first off? are you man enough to do that?

last night the kids enjoyed the occasion. and thats what we should always strive for. things that made occasion last night was the fact it was a semi final and and the big crowd atmosphere. oh and of course the win. thats what we want every week for the kids.

my only point was the performance was dire and kids could see it. so if we dont have big crowds and we continue to lose then there isnt much to keep the kids there.

of course there are lots of kids who go already.i never said there wernt. just said nice to see many there last night with smiles on their faces.

I wasn't rude, try not to ruin another thread. It is boring.

I'd hardly say it was dire, it was lower league football and a shite pitch. First half we played some decent stuff.

ahahahah i am replying to a OP and you come out and make it about kids comign to my house to sky every week? and then you turn around and say dont ruin another thread? haahah

everyone can see through you nick. you are a twat. lets be honest, you have absolutly no defence in this thread. clear as day what you have done.

it was a ugly game to watch. we have been in league 1 for years now but thats ugliest ive seen us. any relation to us being rock bottom? maybe.

this is nothing to do with tiki taka or championsleague how you absurdly put it. just said we need the overall package to keep kids loving cov city f.c

Really? I've seen us play a lot worse than that many a time including games this season.

Yes, it was in regards to you basically just talking rubbish in most threads, probably best to steer clear of the football talk.

so you are advocating going off topic in a football thread?

wow. you are having a nightmare today lol

the games near end of pressley were really bad. no shots on target etc . last night was ugly. but if you win no one cares

if slade keeps us up using this football i wont be complaining. but i am not sure its going to yield results vs better teams than wycombe. so if we do lose games we wont see so many smiling faces like we did last night

i am not sure how this pov is rubbish?

One of the best things I saw last night was Harries jump in the air and hug Turnbull on the halfway line when the first goal went in, then sprint to celebrate, Turnbull didn't seem that bothered but you could tell it genuinely meant so much to Harries!

The point was about kids still loving CCFC and having their heroes whether it's Jones or Stevenson rather than Dublin or Huckerby.

Wycombe didn't look too much different to teams like Bolton when we played them at home, even more dangerous in the second half.

you seem to think i am anti ccfc or anti lower leagues in my every post just because i watch europeon leagues. its possible to enjoy all forms of the beatiful game.

the kids were smiling yesterday because we got to wembley. agree? it was a fantastic night. all i said is we need more of these for kids

when i was a kid our best player was kevin gallagher and we were in premier league. my first game hes just been sold and i was really excited to see his replacement wegerle play. every game had great atmosphere at HR

todays kids have to watch some ugly stuff at the moment in front of empty stadiums with no atmosphere and they see ALOT of losses. yes they may love jodie jones or bens tevenson and thats great. but i would personally like them to have happier memories of their childhood spent supporting cov.

there is no way you can twist the above into me causing trouble.

Yes, but to some kids it doesn't matter how full the stadium is. There are young lads walking round every week when we play teams like Oxford at home who are like that and are excited all week for it.

The kids are still there, I reckon the JSBs need a lot of credit for it.

the kids are there. i just want them to experience more great nights like last night rather than what they been seeing all season long.

i see otis also said he saw lots of kids there last night smiling away. why are you not having digs at him?

odd

The wife sent my little boy to bed at half time. I got him back out of bed to watch it. Hope he got up OK for school today.

He couldn't wait to go to school to tell his mates that he is going to Wembley. They are all Liverpool and Manchester United. He celebrated more than the lad in the clip above.

yawn nick gets it wrong again, instead of admitting he was trolling for no good reason and apolgoise he pretends that its not what he meant after all. what a joke.

Show me where I said it was no different or pipe down.

I was saying the kids are still there and are bothered, there are kids who are still as excited about going to games every week. There are kids nearly wetting themselves with excitement at Christmas parties because they get to meet the players.
