Who should still move on? (2 Viewers)

I would like to think that Doug is no mug and despite not knowing much about football he can see where the weaknesses are as with most fans. I am sure he will be in regular conversation with MR about bringing in people for the weakest positions and shipping out the weakest

Fuck all mate. Last I heard was CM and ST, Still waiting to see if my potential new source is right with Delaney
Bit random but has Dempster ever been in any consideration for a promotion. Usually you see u21 coaches getting assistant promotions before u18 coaches.

Everyone is saying let this one go and let that one go, but we've got to understand a couple of things
1. There may not be anyone interested in any of them
2. None of them may want to leave, they may all want to do a Moore and just see their contract out
Saying that I hope I'm wrong on 1 & 2, and we do move on these players, to free up wages and get better players in

If we shave the squad more, by letting various squad players go, then the inevitable ‘wafer thin squad’ syndrome just repeats itself.

Let Tavares, Burroughs etc go, who replaces them? I doubt we have much more in the bank to improve the team, unless the Vik and Gus sales go through.

Yeah, with the squad as it stands I'd keep both Tavares and Burroughs but ideally would be looking at loaning them out if we can get upgrades on both.
If Ellis Simms was to get injured next game, we're looking very thin again up front, especially as we've not replaced Godden

Even if we do sign this Ntelo, he’s not a ‘goalscoring striker’, more of a wide forward like Haji.

We do need another actual striker, which I’m sure is on MR’s list.

Remember last season we ended up playing Joel lat in about 15 different positions when he was clearly cooked. I'm all for loaning out the youth prospects but some of the above is short sighted. We've been back 3 weeks and we're already 5 players injured!

What will happen - no one else out other than kids loans

What should happen - one of Collins Wilson out, Palmer out

Don't expect either of Wilson or Collins to go. Mental I know

Why is it 'mental'?

Collins has a long contract and finished last season in poor form. Wilson will be on a low wage so no issue. You're talking like the club are behaving like sad, old hoarders. If no one wants a player, and that player won't forfeit some or all of their contract, not a whole lot they can do. Players become redundant sometimes; is what it is.

Until we line up another CM you keep Palmer. He's gonna be on a decent wedge which limits who will take him, and his form and output probably don't justify his wage. Unless he'll take a pay cut to get more playing time, what's the club meant to do? Feels like he's part of the reason AV is out tbh; players he vouched for not cutting it.

The annoying thing with Palmer is he is more than capable of having a Smozdic or Akpom type of season. Knowing our luck it will be when he's been moved on!

Again only going off what I was told weeks ago before throwing the towel in but I'd only expect to see a CM and ST for definite

The experienced centre half would be later in the window if the right one became available for loan
Hopefully nobody meets Forest valuation of Worrall and they let him go out for a small loan fee rather than have him in their reserves

I'm surprised so nany see Allen as part of our plans. We're not Man City, but then neither is our first team and the idea is you have someone almost as good as what you have in the side to replace an injury or suspension etc. JA for me doesn't fit that. He's been great for us but to get to that next step he's not enough imo, however ruthless that seems. He runs around and works hard, but we need more.

It is all well and good saying people need to be moved on? But you can't until an offer comes in for them and then they have to agree to it.

As for the youngsters, they won't go on loan until Robins has brought in his targets and we don't need them to pad out the squad.

Still time for things to develop.

With Sheaf and Torp out injured we definitely need a CM.
