Robins was quite good wasn't he?
So was SP for a period of time equal too MR's time with us. Would MR still be the mesoah if he'd been here as long as SP?

Apart from Jimmy Hill and Sillet/Curtis, how many manager have succeeded at the club full stop?

I guess in the current climate you may actually have to take that as a success story!!
When you think through though that is not a great place to be if that is our only success under SISU?
I would say there was a period of time when GS also succeeded.

I'd hazard a guess he went to the mighty Huddersfield because of SISU.

Or because of getting paid 3 or 4 times more..
What about the parting shot at the council?
Let's ignore that though, like we ignore your comments about "locals" at Sixfields now the in thing is franchised teams.
No point using facts or things that happen, let's just make shit up to suit.
So Sisu didn't pay enough ?
Remind me of the parting shot and the locals at Sixfields comments please. I've long forgot.
Never bothered me about franchised teams. Are you saying that CCFC was franchised to Northampton.
Just a reminder. I am a long time CCFC season ticket holder and have attended 2 Wasps games.

Sorry Nick, you don't think the fact that he got wind of the plan that we were relocating to Northampton to break the nasty lease agreement with the horrible people at the council had any thing to do with it?
You can have a look back through your old posts. I just had a dig for the other thread to see who it was who actually had an issue / digs / remarks about "locals" at Sixfields.
Have a look at what Robins said when he left about the council too?
Strange that you don't seem to know much about that.
Again, nothing to do with the massive pay rise he was going to get at Huddersfield as well as being closer to his family?

Protesting requires some passion, and a belief that you can at the very least, in a small way, influence future decision making.
When it's clear that you are being totally ignored, it's hard to justify the time and money you spend, especially if you have a family competing for said time and money.
Instead of protesting, people drift away from the club and attendances fall.
Just think you are totally missing the point.
This has never been about whether you support SISU or not... it should be about supporting the team. The owners are secondary. But too many people have lost sight of that, and then irrationally blame the owners for everything.
For example:
Wasps owning the Ricoh - SISU, CCC, ACL & Higgs all to blame
Telling fans there is a new stadium coming but releasing fuck all in terms of detail - SISU's fault entirely
Last night's shower of shit - Pressley and the players.
If people want to be NOPM that's fine. If you think it will help the team or force the owners out then you are stupid.
Success to me was just being in the PL.
So in that respect all of them except Strachan.
Which then goes against the grain of people moaning about the lack of success for 45+ years because 'success' is top 6? Which is it no 'success' for 45 years or no 'success' for 12 years?

This is exactly the point. We did see a huge protest last night. Not with people waving bits of paper though. The protest was the fact that the ground was almost empty. The 7000 includes all ST holders but there were plenty in Block 19 who didn't bother last night.
A combination of no ambition and a complete lack of effort have resulted in a team that simply is not worth watching any more. Going last night was a real chore and I have no intention of renewing again. It's going to be difficult motivating ourselves to go to the matches we have already paid for, so why would people pay on the day to watch this rubbish?
I would say Gordon Milne was quite successful. He was manager for nigh on 9 years and we very rarely were in trouble. He did well keeping us in the top league for so long..
Under Milne we finished;
19th, 16th, 14th, 14th, 19th, 7th, 10th, 15th.

It does make you wonder what the attendance would be in a few weeks if SISU were to walk tomorrow.
I'd like to know how many are actually staying away due to them and how many are staying away because the football is boring.
Ultimately people go to games to see two things. A winning team and entertaining football - in that order. A few may be staying away because of principles regarding the owners, but I believe most are staying away because it's rubbish. Currently the team is struggling, but there is nothing remotely resembling entertainment in what we are seeing. When we were struggling in the Premier League we usually survived because of effort and commitment which the fans could accept. City fans never get on the back of a grafter.
Fox news fact, don't joke though I said I was tim fisher and people believed it!Might put that on Twitter . See if it can actually become "Fact" by the weekend

i agree but i think it would be some fecking party the game after SISU left, you would struggle to get a ticket!
Sadly isnt going to happen
Manager when I first starting going every week. Good times, though not necessarily successful ones.
