Who would you start against Derby? (1 Viewer)

Cody's on board, and providing there's no miracle signings beforehand, this would be my choice for Saturday:

Murphy
Christie Keogh Cranie Hussey
Clingan
Bigirimana Baker
Eastwood
McDonald Jutkiewicz

Can see Freddy playing well in the hole, reckon Cody will definitely start if fit rather than us suffer another go with Roy from the start, especially if these training reports are to be believed!

Pleny of time for new injuries yet - and maybe a loan signing

That looks to be probably our best formation with good attacking flair - I like it

hes just a number really. When we first got him i thought he had promise, however ive seen very little since. Not sure what his best position is. Better coming off the bench imo (or better on it)

In all honesty i would rather play an academy player in that position.

We signed a promising midfield duo from the premiership last season.

Full Backs

Just wondering people's thoughts on changing our full backs. Christie looks promisng but a little naieve and Hussey for me has slightly disappointed since he became established in frst XI?

I suppose we have not let in many but just feel maybe getting Wood, McPake or Cameron could come into the team?

What are people's thoughts, interested to see if Eastwood and McDonald start againts Derby, Eastwood had a couple more weeks to get fit now.

My team would be.
Murphy
McPake, Keogh, Crainie, Hussey
Clingan, Bell, Bigi, Eastwood
Juke Mcdonald

Subs: Baker, Christie, Dunn, Platt, O'Donovan.

PUSB, think we may get three points on Saturday.

I thought McPake had played RB before in Scotland? Maybe I'm wrong.

Going purely on potential ability, I'd go for:

Murphy
Keogh Cranie Wood Hussey
Clingan
Bigirimana Thomas
Eastwood
Jutkiewicz McDonald

S: Dunn, Christie, Bell, McSheffrey, Platt

In what way? I think Christie's come in and been the stand out player so far, for me anyway.

Christie has done one or two things good but doesn't fill me with confidence. He's been skinned for a couple of goals, and is often guilty of either switching off or simply not knowing what to do/where to stand/when to "go" from full-back to winger. I appreciate that he's young and has time to improve, but he looks like he's at a similar stage to Jordan 2 years ago. And not nearly as good, IMO.

I appreciate what you're saying but Christie has filled me with a lot more optimism than Clarke did up until Thorn took over. Clarke looked completely lost but was easily most improved player under Thorn at the end of last season. But Christie has come in and done a great job, looks far superior in that position. I also haven't seen him be skinned and has been the only player trying to get forward in a lot of games without leaving the defence short.

My team at the moment would be:

Murphy
Christie Keogh Cranie Hussey
Clingan
Bigi Bell
Eastwood
McDonald Jutkewiecz

While McSheffs out I'd give Eastwood a go there, see if he can do something. If not then maybe swap him and Bell around.

AT said that he would be back shortly after turner so he should be back in about 2-3 weeks im thinking

If it's this year I'll eat my hat.

AT doesn't like changes much, I think he will start with...

Murphy
Christie Keogh Cranie Hussey
Clingan
Bigi Baker
Bell
ROD Jutkewiecz

...although he might drop ROD for MacDonald, I expect he will in a few weeks when Cody is up to full fitness.
