Enough with the Richard Shaw bashing, you do it constantly and it makes you look like either a Leicester fan or, more simply, just a completely unappreciative prick. Shaw was one of the best man-markers in British football in his day. There was a programme on R5 about Fergies anniversary at Man U. They got onto the Cantona kick. Then-Palace gaffer Alan Smith was interviewed about the events. He spoke about how they had employed Shawsy as a man-marker, and he never gave Cantona a sniff. It was driving Cantona mental, and Smith says it was very much the frustration at not being able to shake him off being behind the blown fuse.
