He's a great organiser and leader which makes up for his lack of paceYou'd argue we look weaker generally at the back without him .. he seems to lead the line well and get in the other defenders ears all game .. don't really see it from the others .
We've shifted a few in the last couple months
McFadz stays
LOL Cal, Hamer and Gyo are not out of contractshame he doesn't come out and say the same about . Cal. hamer and Gyokeres
Two of whom have already signed their new contracts this season?shame he doesn't come out and say the same about . Cal. hamer and Gyokeres

contracts, not really worth the paper they are written on, all except to get a bigger price when eventually they sell them.
So McFadzean might be off then, and it's pointless what Robins says or doesn't.contracts, not really worth the paper they are written on, all except to get a bigger price when eventually they sell them.

He might not be herei'm glad fadz will be here nxt season, even though a bench warmer.
So somebodies going to come in and bid for him?He might not be here

You never know, contracts arent worth the paper they're written on.So somebodies going to come in and bid for him?
I mean they literally areYou never know, contracts arent worth the paper they're written on.
You're really rather hard work at times.I mean they literally are
he has to move the manager doesn’t rate him
I mean they literally are
I think it’s fairly obvious he’s made his mind up already, he doesn’t need to see him for 10 minutes in a dead rubberWould like to see Jodi Jones get some minutes towards the end of the season with a view to him challenging O’hare for a first team spot next season.
Sadly I think Jones' most recent injury scuppered any chance he had of making it with us. There's no time left to prove his worth. A few dead rubbers won't change opinions.Would like to see Jodi Jones get some minutes towards the end of the season with a view to him challenging O’hare for a first team spot next season.

I mean I’m one to criticise Godden. But 3 ACL’s is slightly different. At least Godden can play 50% of the seasonReal shame I think we’ll regret letting him go. Far more naturally gifted than O’hare. Begs the question why we would keep Godden on when he has just as bad injury problems

Godden has scored 12 league goals this season. As others have said Jones hasn't started since 2017 in the league. The 2 are hardly comparable.Real shame I think we’ll regret letting him go. Hilsner really was a puzzling signing. Had no decent reputation as a footballer so not sure why we gave him a 3 year dealOh also we forgot about hillsner
Werder Bremen and Paderborn, Bundesliga clubs at the time, have also signed Hilssner so no reputation is a bit harsh, as they clearly saw whatever we saw in terms of potential in there.Hilsner really was a puzzling signing. I'd like to see us bring in a CB in the McFadz mould but with pace and a tenacious, mobile ball winning midfield.
Essentially a poor man's Virgil Van Djk and Roy Keane for peanuts
I think I might be disappointed.
Although I can't see him challenging O'Hare for his spot (at best it'd be to play alongside him) given that we've renewed his contract for three years while he's been injured it would seem pointless to not at least give him some time to prove whether or not he could be a squad player here next year (personally i think he could be given his likely wages). It seems very odd that MR has given him so few opportunities (I don't think he's looked terrible in his brief time on the pitch) unless he has looked really poor in training.Would like to see Jodi Jones get some minutes towards the end of the season with a view to him challenging O’hare for a first team spot next season.
Reids only 19, and we paid a fee for him, and is contracted until summer 2024, definitely worth keeping and sending out on loan, I doubt we would get anything for him.Sell/Release

If we are going to stick with a 3-4-2-1 / 3-4-1-2 formation, I think we really need to strengthen the defence and wing back areas. Would like to see us sign an out and out pacey winger just so we can change the formation when trailing in games.
I think Sheaf is very very close to Hamer technically. I think replacing Hamer is much easier than replacing COH or Viktor.I’m actually feeling pretty miserable about this upcoming window.
Looks like Hamer is out for sure and I think we are much much weaker without him in the side. Not just technically is he the best player in the side but vision wise he’s always one step ahead of anyone else…always one pass ahead of everyone (even if his execution isn’t always perfect). It’s only him and maybe OHare who I don’t get nervous about receiving the ball under pressure.
Let’s say we got 8m for him and robins was given half of that to find a replacement. We are not going to be able to get anyone near as good for the money. I know we got him for 1m but he’s developed significantly since then and I’m not sure we can pull that off again
Maybe but very different player, think sheaf is more of a kelly style player. Hamer more in the Liam walsh mould.I think Sheaf is very very close to Hamer technically. I think replacing Hamer is much easier than replacing COH or Viktor.
