Probably the league table.
CovVenTrY cidy ,floppy haired c**tRobins sacking has been in the pipeline for a while as King goes about restructuring the club.
But the man with no interest in football surely didn't come up with this idea himself did he?
.who's been putting ideas in his head?
What league table?
He started this last season when things were going quite well.
Though you probably still think it was Robins

Probably a poster on here, it's the kind of skullduggery I'd expect from himRobins sacking has been in the pipeline for a while as King goes about restructuring the club.

It’s actually quite funny how much anger is being directed to backroom staff fans have zero knowledge about.
The one we are near the bottom of after spending a decent whack on players. What league table?

It's quite funny that you've totally misunderstood the thrust of the thread.
Not really, At a guess you’re implying that one of his recently appointed executive structure is the person who’s told him to pull the trigger!?
Don’t worry though, let’s not try make improvements on the pitch by trying to be run like a professional outfit off it…
Look at the league table and look at how we’ve been playing the last 8 months. Take the sentiment away and the FA cup semi final, we’re going backwards at a rapid rate.
The money we’ve spent (regardless of whether it came out of Doug’s pocket or not) the excuse of we always start slow doesn’t wash any more.

Grief. King has taken our money. We deserve to see a good product on the pitch. Relegation form since February. He gave MR a lot of time. Robins said as much in recent post match interviews. ‘I could have been sacked.’We weren't when he started the process though.
I'm talking about the decision to overhaul the coaching, not sack Robins

Also. We on here have discussed apparent personal issues. it’s Shit. But we need to stay up and move on. Get someone in now and hit the transfer mkt. Sheaf, Haji, Van ewick et al wiil be looked at by clubs as well.
Yes you clearly have
Let me reiterate, I'm talking about the decision to overhaul the coaching structure, not sack Robins.
Where did a man with no interest in football get the idea to do it, especially at a time when things on the playing side were going pretty well.
Our form was terrible at the end of last season. We weren't when he started the process though.

Going pretty well? Look at the back end of last season when Adi was still here…Were the results still going pretty well then?
At a guess I would say most of the teams in this league will have a similar coaching set up to the new regime whether there comparable on a skill level is another thing but the numbers etc I’d say are.
Our form was terrible at the end of last season.
I mean, the alternative scenario is a lot more troubling imo. If they’re not advising him on matters like these then I’m not sure why they’re there in the first place. Not really, At a guess you’re implying that one of his recently appointed executive structure is the person who’s told him to pull the trigger!?
The process started last year. Way before our end of season drop-off.
What, or who, prompted it?
King would have been here less that a year and admits to having no football knowledge.

Read my answer you clown. I referred to that. TitRead my post again you clown.
You've answered a question I haven't asked, wasting both our times.
Ultimately, this right here is the reason. I know the figures are likely not completely accurate, but we all know we've spent a lot of money trying to replace two exceptional players and for whatever reason it hasn't worked out. Ultimately the man at the top will be the one who pays the price for the poor form of relatively expensive players.

Care to elaborate?
Absolutely.
That's an absurd sum of money, even in the modern game.
To be where we are in the league and to start and finish so poorly last season is simply not good enough.
