What shit are you talking now "keeping the threads going"? Is that an argument of some sort, because it just makes you look like another silly old twat who has read somebody else say something and thought you could try and use it. Meanwhile, you make yourself look a twat by keeping the thread going yourself.
Yes, it is CCFC specific, nobody has said it isn't and that they do it at Wasps games....
Now who could possibly stand to benefit when CCC and Wasps once again take action to make the matchday experience worse for CCFC fans. As I mentioned before in another thread chap in front of me last night refused to be searched and was turned away. Will he bother coming back? We aren't in a position to be turning fans away.
Some of the organisations mentioned are subject to FOI, might throw in a few requests and see what it turns up.
On the basis of the statement provided you would have to assumes the same standards will be applied to Wasps matches.
Don't go so I couldn't tell you but a few seconds on google threw this up:Serious question: how many pitch invasions have Wasps had?
You could definitely make an argument that a naked bloke wandering across the pitch at what is marketed as a family friendly event is equal to, if not worse, than anything that happened at the Sheff Utd game.A Warwick rugby club student crossed the field naked during a WASPS game against Quins in the Ricoh Arena, on Sunday 28 February.

And how come they refer to two pitch invasions? There's only been one on the pitch protest hasn't there?
Would be interesting to know if similar incidents at other clubs have prompted the same heavy handed response.

Let's be honest, it's down to the Safety Advisory Group seemingly thinking football is the devil's work. Just need to look at the gap between home and away fans since we started at the Ricoh to see that.
I wonder if some people went to Wasps games, wearing Wasps tops but invaded the pitch with SISU banners, whether they'd threaten Wasps to play behind closed doors....
Despite the shower that is our performance on the pitch, I was wondering last night - who is actually responsible for the stewards etc at the games? Who gives them their orders? Its bad enough that we have to deal with everything else wrong with the club, to then be subjected to all their nonsense! By nonsense I mean that last night:
1) i wasn't allowed to enter through one of the other turnstiles as it wasn't my designated turnstile
2) at said turnstile i was subjected to a pat down, yet they still missed the bottle of water i had in my coat pocket
3) i looked on in disbelief as a fresh out of his mum steward made an elderly gentleman take of his flat-cap to check under it.... A FLAT CAP!!! THE CLUES IN THE NAME!
4) During the game - the stewards seemed hell bent on running up and down the steps in the naughty corner seemingly trying to suppress the ounce of atmosphere the lads were trying to drum up!
Its a joke. Bad enough that i still drag my ass up there every week, but to then be put through this circus is beyond me!
Throwing tennis balls and blowing whistles is hardly going to cause a safety issue either, though again I dislike it personally. So what's the real safety issue here that requires all of this heavy-handedness at the turnstiles - one invasion against Sheff Utd? Is that such a serious breach of safety as to have the council threaten to close the doors. Has another council ever threatened to do this to its own club - normally it's the FA that step in as far as I can see. I'm not convinced by this, personally...
Tennis balls pft

edit-should really read the OP properly next time!
And they only hang you after you have watched the game and realize you didn't want to get in anyway.I was told by a steward that a lot of you scum are coming for entertainment on childrens tickets - crime punishable by hanging clearly
Stewards are rarely paying attention. I'm diabetic so always took cans of coke with me, start of last season I was told no cans allowed and they took them all off me. Every week since, I've taken cartons of juice with a can of coke in my bag. They ask me to open my bag they have a look inside, clearly pay no attention and just let me in. If you wanted to, you could take anything in the ground with you i'm pretty sure all of the checks are for show.
I enter at T23 but the last couple of weeks there has been someone stood in front of T22 not letting people in and then randomly decides to ask people to go in T22 instead of the others, what's that all about?
Not done anything about the players then have they! They are the worst culprits for interfering with play if you ask me!Our club has to be able to show that they are doing what they can to the FL to stop demonstrations that interfere with play. The problem with SISU is that they are either too much or nothing at all in what they do.
Jonty Rhodes...what a fielder.
Except of course that fans haven't been throwing flares at each other at CCFC matches*, so where's the safety issue that has led to the council to threaten to close down the ground? Indeed, where's the example of another council that have behaved in this way towards to their local football team? Normally it's the FA who deal with these kinds of issues (e.g. Blackpool).
* At the rate we're going at you'd need an arm like Jonty Rhodes to be able to hit the nearest fan to you with any kind of missile.
The idea is to prevent anything serious happening.
The responsible authorities will always err on the side of safety which to some is over the top.
I assume there would be a quantified risk assessment done by ACL that would flag the issues here.
An effects analysis would then have to be actioned to reduce the figures.
ACL are ultimately responsible for safety at the Ricoh. The FL, Council and Police will advise. Why have Blackpool not been sanctioned then? Acl shouldn't be responsible for risk assesment - that's the FL and police surely.

Thought Blackpool got fined £50K and played a game behind closed doors when they got a game abandoned.
So again, show me a single council who have ever threatened to have their local football team play behind closed doors? You're clearly trying to defend this, I wonder why?
