He played for Notts twice. Think this would be when he went back there at the end of his career as he looks older than when he played for us.

Played for Chelsea too, they signed him from Notts County for £100k big fee in those days, they sold him to Liverpool same fee, we bought him for £80000 but soon flogged him on to Birmingham for £72,500. Remember going to Stoke where we won 3-0, all headers Hateley bagged 2 both from outside the box against the great Gordon Banks too, was a brilliant header of the ball but absolute shite on the deck.
