MR would have been a natural hand over. I think RS appointment sealed our fate this season. MR getting the side to play a decent brand (by our seasons standards) seems just the tonic needed that would have given us a real chance of staying up. It's just all happened to late. He should have been appointed instead of RS and it just baffles me why he wasn't considering he ended up here anyway.

He also is an instant impact manager - he would have got enough wins last season to get promotion.

Although Slade was a disaster it's also interesting to note how many of Slades recruits are first choice.

Completely agree, Slade was an underwhelming, poor decision. As I said after the Northampton game, the appointment of Slade sealed our relegation.

His January window was pathetic, his tactics were laughable, his cap was embarrassing and the fact that he looked at Yakubu for two weeks and decided he was fit enough to be signed, says a lot about him......He was as much use as a condom machine in the Vatican.

No had to listen on the radio unfortunately. Due to personal stuff.
From the radicsounds like we had a nice conbo of mixing it up between long ball and using the midfield.
When we did use the midfield they didn't sound poor to be fair.

Yeah they were poor. Bristol had a poor second half and we took the game to them better but we were outplayed in the middle of the park.

We won through having a solid back line and we rode our luck in the first half. Second half he moved Reid inside a bit and that seemed to work. Bigi was poor as was Reilly but Reilly has an engine so will always give you something.

Matter of opinion. I didn't think Bigi was poor. A bit hit and miss maybe with some of his passing going astray but on the whole more positives about his display than negatives.

Bigi was poor as was Reilly but Reilly has an engine so will always give you something.

I found that the further away from the opposition goal, the better Reilly was today. He had a good line in breaking up attacks but just as good a line as underhitting passes to nobody in particular.

Read the previous clubs fans forums. Heard he was a long ball merchant.
Came on here and said I would accept long ball as a short term necessary evil to stay up.
Fully expected him to sign some beasts up front.
Once we signed no one of that criteria knew we were screwed.
This squad is not built for long ball. As shown today and last week it's strengths lie in through balls and crosses
