Could it be because negotiations are still taking place with Hoffman or are they having difficulty daft enough to take the job ? No applicant in their right mind would take the job knowing Hoffman is trying to buy the club ?

Haven't they said it ever since Anderson went? That was a while ago now. It's just another wage to save and do we need one?

In Joy's apology from Friday it was her closing statement: "Lastly, we need to ensure that the club has a CEO with whom the fans can communicate, liaise and bemoan to, when necessary; a leader who can engage with the Sky Blue community at large. We are in the process of recruiting this individual.""

Fucking hell, plenty to slag SISU for, but if the CCFC HR's anything like ours, it'll be three months before the job advert's approved, let alone the time to apply, interview, and have somebody serve notice.

What's that got to do with it? You're the one asking why there's no new ceo yet, I just linked up a rare public statement from Joy herself that stated, as recently as 2 business days ago, that it is 'in process'.
Some of the threads that have been started on here recently are mind blowing, it's like reading a serialised 'Diary of a Fuckwit'. Relegation and potential takeover has removed people's brain filter - you don't need to spill out every thought onto paper...

They have been saying for years now that communication will improve. I am like many others. I will believe it when I see it.

I'm pretty sure EVERYONE thinks that communication needs to improve, is sceptical whether it will, and won't believe it til it happens. However that's nothing to do with the OP which is asking where the new CEO is with the 2 offered explanations being that the reason Joy hasn't appointed a new CEO (within 48 hours of her statement!) is because of Hoffman negotiations or lack of candidates. That's just fucking bonkers.

When you say BS are you referring to the details of Joys open letter which was a statement? I'm guessing not. So how is the OP bullshit when he is asking a question not making a statement?

I would like a bit more Clarification regarding the CEO thing.

Tom Fisher is the CEO isn't he?
Have I got that wrong?

Or was she just talking about replacing Waggot, Anderson, Venus and used the wrong term.

The city's most read paper the CET will get ignored (even in this era of better communication with the fans )

So why doesn't Les clear it up. Or would someone mind asking Laura if they use Twitter?
