This match was sold out. It wasn't a game moved from a Saturday to midweek . It wasn't as if people were going but work commitments prevented them .
Yet there were hundreds of empty seats. Not thousands but clearly enough for it to look short of a sell out .
Still a very good crowd. The fact it was sold out is yet another indication of how far the club has moved on in the last few years.
Has anyone any idea why there are always so many fans who buy a ticket and just don't turn up ?
A few but not too many, mostly ST holders who I imagine are doing other things for Boxing day
I watched it at home . Lots of empty seats in the west stand, and I'm not including the balcony. There were, inevitably, spaces all over the north stand.A few but not too many, mostly ST holders who I imagine are doing other things for Boxing day
Where in the ground? I'm in 13 and it looked pretty full to me.This match was sold out. It wasn't a game moved from a Saturday to midweek . It wasn't as if people were going but work commitments prevented them .

people go away at xmas. we were in deepest darkest devon until 5:30 this morning when we drove back for the game. i guess not everybody will do that, and just accept that they will miss the game. This match was sold out. Watch the highlights . Pockets all over the west and North stand. Perhaps more of our fans go on holiday at Christmas than other clubs, but like I say, there might be similar numbers missing at other sell out matches up and down the land.Where in the ground? Bear in mind, there's a lot of newbie families at a game like this and they'll be taking kids for food etc. during the game.
Nowhere near as empty as at previous 'sellouts'.
It was funny at about 88 minutes when we were singing "You've seen the City, now fuck off home" to look at a rapidly deserting north stand though.
Every ticket in the home end was sold .. 2 people next to me were taking the place of the lad that usually attendsWatch the highlights . Pockets all over the west and North stand. If we can't actually can't fill our own seats on Boxing Day ( and I don't mean sell out because we clearly can ) then I don't know when it will happen .
If this happens at other clubs then perhaps it's just what happens but I do feel.qe are particularly bad at this
My dad and grandad both went into hospital Christmas Eve and Christmas Day respectively. Sorry about that
Mine are both dead, Hill. Sorry about that.My dad and grandad both went into hospital Christmas Eve and Christmas Day respectively. Sorry about that
We're currently the 34th best men's football team in the whole country. Chill out.My seat was empty because we've been fucking disgraceful for months and I can't watch a football team that cannot defend.
Wasn't aware of that, but it would explain a lot of it.I’m sure the club still hand out freebies, while they do we’ll never have a full house.

I don't think the club are handing out many freebies they don't need toWasn't aware of that, but it would explain a lot of it.
Also - why is that balcony by the Mahou lounge always empty? Is it just overpriced
Maybe 35th if you count Celtic. We're currently the 34th best men's football team in the whole country. Chill out.

Far as I'm aware the freebies are very minimal. I'm talking 20-30 a game
Looks fairly full.

Watch the highlights. Lots of empty seats in the west stand. In the corners as you'd expect. But surely if people are on holiday etc they'd be dotted all over and not more in the corners than elsewhere.I'd also say that empty sky blue seats stick out like a sore thumb

But all those years of not commenting this has to be the most boring of comments registered.
We won , people have families, you spend your time counting seats at the CBS look up Pornhub if life is that bad .
Or pop into your local for a beer and talk to people.Good luck .
Yea just watched , yea a couple dozen in the posh stand , 3rd and 4th goals are too close to half time to useWatch the highlights. Lots of empty seats in the west stand.
