There were 2 next to me and 3 in front of me in B22, always someone there, some people got other priorities on Boxing Day
Sorry to read this, hope they pull through okay.My dad and grandad both went into hospital Christmas Eve and Christmas Day respectively. Sorry about that
I don't need to, I was there.Wrong. Go on you tube and look. Plenty of empty seats both ends of posh stand throughout the match . Some in the north stand as well.
The taxman dislikes this postReal bugbear of mine - the "attendance" figure should be the number of people in the ground (which they can count at the speed of light by the turnstiles scanning barcodes on tickets and STs), NOT the number of seats they have sold.
I don't need to, I was there.
Not the hundreds which this thread is claiming. There were empty seats. Everybody should move on.
I agree this is a problem. Not sure though how it should be marketed. Top price about 1000 a season. Also - why is that balcony by the Mahou lounge always empty? Is it just overpriced?
I think they only do it for 70-odd people if I understood what the ticket office lady said to me the other day when I looked at booking it for Sheff Weds in the cup. Also - why is that balcony by the Mahou lounge always empty? Is it just overpriced?
I'm in an end block of the West Stand, which I assume is what is being referred to as the posh stand. Only noticed one empty seat near me, one of the old boys not there. Hopefully with family and nothing more serious. Not the hundreds which this thread is claiming.

My seat was empty because we've been fucking disgraceful for months and I can't watch a football team that cannot defend.

It was a very respectable attendance.
Although for the size of the City we should be full every home match.
Too many top 6 prem supporters & too many with short arms & long pockets.
PUSB.
I was in my local A&E as well.I was down A&E with my dad so that knocked 4 off the gate
That may be the case, but if i was the safety manager, i would want to know how many people were in the stadium! They are not allowed to, they have publish it based on tickets sold, applies to every club.
Safety manager probably does know. That may be the case, but if i was the safety manager, i would want to know how many people were in the stadium!
Road closures won't help. The only empty seats were the balcony seats. If you're referring to empty seats in the last 10 minutes where it seemed a lot of the North Stand wanted to get out early, then yes. Other than that, it was full.
Is this a wind up, if not, I suggest you go and support a different team.
City till I die.

I know many "City fans" who don't go & can certainly afford to go.5th biggest average in the league and the entire Football league tbf
The FA cup game in 2 weeks will be a good test, ticket cost is very affordable.I know many "City fans" who don't go & can certainly afford to go.
Offer them a free ticket & they are there before you can say pusb.

They are backed by billionaire Bill Foley, he owns lots of sports brands.I've heard Derby give away a huge number of tickets in the community, and have special deals such as free ST when you lease a car. Don't know how much of that is true. You could probably discount them anyway.
I didn't realise that every single club in the Championship has a higher average attendance than Bournemouth.
It’s not taking off yet. SUFC have an allocation of 4500 and we’ve got about 22000 spaces that haven’t sold yet.The FA cup game in 2 weeks will be a good test, ticket cost is very affordable.
I've got my ticket. It’s not taking off yet. SUFC have an allocation of 4500 and we’ve got about 22000 spaces that haven’t sold yet.
Fair enough but the crowds generally have been pretty fantastic for almost 2 years now .. even cup games tend to be well backed these daysI know many "City fans" who don't go & can certainly afford to go.

Yes tickets are affordable, but to be honest I won't be going .It’s not taking off yet. SUFC have an allocation of 4500 and we’ve got about 22000 spaces that haven’t sold yet.
Bournemouth's ground only holds about 11 k .I've heard Derby give away a huge number of tickets in the community, and have special deals such as free ST when you lease a car. Don't know how much of that is true. You could probably discount them anyway.

Affordable game but have no interest in going to this one.The FA cup game in 2 weeks will be a good test, ticket cost is very affordable.
