There were 2 next to me and 3 in front of me in B22, always someone there, some people got other priorities on Boxing Day

My dad and grandad both went into hospital Christmas Eve and Christmas Day respectively. Sorry about that
Sorry to read this, hope they pull through okay.

Real bugbear of mine - the "attendance" figure should be the number of people in the ground (which they can count at the speed of light by the turnstiles scanning barcodes on tickets and STs), NOT the number of seats they have sold.

In North American sport, or at least in ice hockey, it's common to get two figures, actual attendance and paid attendance. Added bonus when someone like Wasps try and inflate the figures paid attendance doesn't include freebies.

Also not uncommon to get a ticket gross figure so you can tell if loads of cut price tickets have been pumped out.

It was a very respectable attendance.
Although for the size of the City we should be full every home match.
Too many top 6 prem supporters & too many with short arms & long pockets.

Also - why is that balcony by the Mahou lounge always empty? Is it just overpriced?
I think they only do it for 70-odd people if I understood what the ticket office lady said to me the other day when I looked at booking it for Sheff Weds in the cup.

Not the hundreds which this thread is claiming.
I'm in an end block of the West Stand, which I assume is what is being referred to as the posh stand. Only noticed one empty seat near me, one of the old boys not there. Hopefully with family and nothing more serious.

Other than that all the usual suspects in place. Wish the guy who keeps yelling forward would have stayed at home tbh.

They are not allowed to, they have publish it based on tickets sold, applies to every club.

I thought it was yesterday.
Although reading ADM's final reasoning,it sounds like he has an issue with Wasps level of misinformation?

My seat was empty because we've been fucking disgraceful for months and I can't watch a football team that cannot defend.

Is this a wind up, if not, I suggest you go and support a different team.

We sit in block 16 My lad who is a season ticket holder, the 4 in front of us 3 are kids, and 2 that sit next to us (one who is in hospital) and my neighbour who is starting a new business never made it.
Things happen, I also know of 2 different season ticket holders who are on holiday.

The only empty seats were the balcony seats. If you're referring to empty seats in the last 10 minutes where it seemed a lot of the North Stand wanted to get out early, then yes. Other than that, it was full.
Road closures won't help.

This is the poster who recently said the way the club is being run now is the final straw, after having a ST in Northampton and Birmingham.

I'd just ignore him. Pretty sure he's one of those who bought a ST for the first time at the end of the play off final season, and now wants to go back to just watching top 6 prem football on the tele.

I know many "City fans" who don't go & can certainly afford to go.
Offer them a free ticket & they are there before you can say pusb.
The FA cup game in 2 weeks will be a good test, ticket cost is very affordable.

I've heard Derby give away a huge number of tickets in the community, and have special deals such as free ST when you lease a car. Don't know how much of that is true. You could probably discount them anyway.

I didn't realise that every single club in the Championship has a higher average attendance than Bournemouth.

Fair enough but the crowds generally have been pretty fantastic for almost 2 years now .. even cup games tend to be well backed these days

It’s not taking off yet. SUFC have an allocation of 4500 and we’ve got about 22000 spaces that haven’t sold yet.
Yes tickets are affordable, but to be honest I won't be going .

Bournemouth's ground only holds about 11 k .
