All they are interested is for the club to be able to pay the intrest on the debt every year which is what they pay the investors with.

One more thing. Yes Sisu have totally fucked the club up.
But if you don't go to games, either tickets or season tickets, you have to take some responsibility for the demise of the club.

And before anyone cries. I'm taking responsibility for my own actions as I won't be going again this season.

Not this year. last season for me. if we don't get promotion in out. made my mind up. it's over until they go. do whatever you want but for me one last season.

Fair enough. I will never slag anyone off for not renewing. Personally, I will always renew without question. I hope no matter what people intend to do there is mutual respect for the decision taken.

I'm not asking for a full blanket boycott this season but after next season, because I need to see the proof that Sisu/Fisher wants to really see the fans return by winning promotion. just like the MM cup brought the fans back. one more season. like Northampton if you want to watch football at division 4 level, you can have it. one more season to return. I can move on then. Or give it another season back in div1. end of. my ultimatum to Sisu. promotion or I'm out.

It's the surefire way to stop us getting coherant active protests going, too, as all this stupid bickering about boycotts just puts off half the fans from wanting anything to do with protests, full-stop.

However many at the protest today, bet there'd have been a damned site more if we hadn't had the stupid, divisive tactics among fans against those who go to the games, that just means fans point accusing fingers at one another, rather than those who have actually messed up.

But when we do go to games we're still not successful.

If it's all down to the fans, a club getting 15k every week shouldn't get relegated from the championship.

The 8th best supported club in league 1 shouldn't be heading towards league 2.

Our crowds are far in excess of what the product on the pitch deserves.

Only the club is responsible for producing a team not capable of reflecting our fan base.

SISU could have bought the Ricoh and all the related benefits which go with it. Fans fault SISU lost the chance of course.

Wasps subsequently bought the Ricoh and subsequently got hold of the Higgs because we, the fans, lost the chance to buy the Ricoh of course. Fans fault we are in danger of losing our Academy status because of Wasps of course.

SISU applied to build houses at Ryton and move the training ground. Fans fault of course.

So, in short, the position we are now in is all due to us, the fans.

Get real SISU and sell

Agree with most points above. They just want the club to fund itself so they don't endure anymore losses. That way they can let their investment tick along and not worry about it. They will continue selling players off to make a bit of profit every year when they can. They are here for the long haul sadly

Because giving money to a football club is not 'investing', it's throwing money away.
Investing is where you sink money into a project with a reasonable expectation you will make a profit.

What evidence is there that my money would improve the club?

Out of interest, what happens if we finish 4th missing out on autos on goal difference and then miss out on promotion on penalties in the play off final? Do we still do a complete boycott?

Whilst you can argue on the quality (or lack of) the evidence is us having professional footballers in the team, rather than Nick and Grendel at centre back.

SISU will retain ownership of the club until the legal process against CCC is complete and they know for sure that they cannot recover some lost profits from the stadium sale.

In the meantime, the club will have to look after itself.

If 20k suddenly bought season tickets, we'd have a bigger budget.

If 250 buy season tickets, we'll have the budget of Accrington.

Does that mean someone should buy a season ticket? No.

SISU got involved as they were told they'd not have to deal with the football side of things, Ranson a 'football man' would deal with that. He spunked absolute millions away on Coleman being an idiot - far more than he told sisu it would cost to get to the prem. When he was told there wouldn't be a large transfer kitty for him he threw his toys out of the pram and left them to deal with it. They tried to run it as a business - which football isn't so it didn't work. Now we're in a cycle of them refusing to put money in and the fans refusing to attend till they go so there is a spiral. Either we attend and fund a promotion or sisu pay for a promotion. I know they aren't going to put anything in as they give not one shit about us so we have to support the club.

This season we SHOULD have had a budget bigger than 16 clubs.

Now I don't know what our budget is but:

If this season our budget wasn't the 8th highest, then that is down to poor management of the club over a number of years.

If this season we did have the 8th highest budget, then that would suggest appalling mismanagement in recruiting the correct players and coaches.

Either way it comes down to poor management. So how will that change?

I appreciate you want hope, but we have to be realistic.

The club is in the position it's in because of bad management. Until that changes our large fan base cannot be utilised to its full potential.
