Lots of the usual arguments on the thread so just to be clear on my stance,

Hi Zack,

Thanks for your response to my post.

It seems, however that you have missed the point of my question, and by your own response, justified that question.

Neither you, I or my least favourite Leicester City fan can possibly have knowledge of any previous criminal or fraudulent acts or involvement when our owners are faceless, nameless and anonymous.

So, I ask again, how can anyone pass such a test if they remain persons unknown?

Oh! And the chap that currently does own Leeds United has got a well documented history of tax evasion in his native Italy. So clearly, it is not a requirement to have a squeaky clean history in the eyes of of The F.A. or the Football League.

Greg Clarke needs to answer my question, and not be allowed to trot out ill informed rot!

Just to add to that there have been more than one news article over the last couple of years linking European football to money laundering and separately more than one news article linking hedge funds, especially those registered in offshore tax havens to money laundering. Just to be clear, I'm not suggesting that this is what's happening at CCFC. My comments are aimed at our governing bodies. They govern an industry susceptible to illegal activity and the test they use don't actually seem to identify who actually owns or invest through the "owners" of clubs. It's not too difficult to see why football is being targeted by money launderer's and that's a failing from the FL and FA and possibly even deeper into world football.

Haha and you think other people come up with conspiracy theories. People will run with this now, SISU using the club to launder money. People throw random statements out and say not saying SISU are doing this. Yet they know people will spread it, unbelieveable.

I Think the EFL and FA should do some

Don't be naive, this thought has gone through the minds of just about every hedge fund owned business inc football clubs(Including CCFC) fans for years.

How do we know the investors haven't pulled out if we don't know who they are?
Why would anyone pull out of a business that could potentially be getting a substantial windfall soon through the courts? That's one logical way to look at it from a business sense, they've already taken the hit haven't they? Surely those same people will wait to recoup, they have no more to lose now they don't fund the club anymore..

I'm sure it was discussed on here that the original investors had likely pulled out. I'm sure it was OSB? Happy to be corrected though.

We don't but as said above I'm sure it was discussed. I said it the other day my problem is statements being thrown out that fans will run with. That aren't true but negatively impact CCFC. Take the money laundering statement for example. Now personally I've not seen it in the news. Maybe because I'm a SISU apologist. Yet SBK thinks most fans have had this cross their mind, really?

You are a Muppet. Aside from the fact I've made the point of saying I don't think that this is the case at CCFC with SISU it's also not a conspiracy theory. Try googling football and money laundering or hedge funds and money laundering. You'll be spoilt for choice on articles to read and the concern's go all the way to government. Especially Washington. Or perhaps we should add the American government to the list of people ganging up on CCFC. Unbelievable.

What do they physically own ? - we have a rental deal with wasps and i guess we have the players contracts ( a wage bill) - without a club one assumes these would be worthless - the training ground - do SISU own it ?

I said I hadn't seen it in the news. Just that by mentioning it and SISU in the same breath, people will put 2+2 together and get 5.

You're the only one to have connected those dot's in that way. Trying to work out if you're having a go at yourself or not. Sounds like it's your conspiracy theory not mine.

I think the issue is with anonymous owners, this has several side effects...
1) Potential money laundering
2) Allows hedge funds etc. to indulge in unsavoury or less than ethical business practises with no impact on the real owners.
The 2nd point certainly apples to SISU in my opinion.

3 things for me:

1) They genuinely believe they can still win at the legal battles and are awaiting outcomes from the final JRs
2) They want money from Ryton
3) They are stubborn and don't want to admit failure & they probably have not received any offers THEY deem sufficient.

Other than that, not the foggiest.

I said you said you didn't think it was the case between CCFC and SISU but I also said by putting the 2 in the same sentence people will jump on it. What is wrong with peoples reading ability today?

Especially Washington? So as said why would I have seen it on UK news. I could find it as you have pointed out but I knew nothing of it. I don't study hedge funds or money laundering so why would I be googling it. I didn't say it weren't happening. Read what I say and then read it again. Try and take it in.

You know full well what happens on the CET site, people have come on here too. So don't pretend I'm making it up that people will see that and it will go round. I'm not saying you will, just that others will. No, that doesn't include the American government. On a thread where why SISU won't sell is being discussed mentioning money laundering and hedge funds, some will believe it's because there at it. Even if you say you don't think that is the case.

We have seen it happen with other things, I'm unsure as to why people can't see it.
