He told us this might happen. We hoped it wouldn't but it's looking like it might!

He'll be more more frustrated than anyone that's it's happened again I imagine.

Just covering his ass "just in case"!

It was weird though for him to mention it wasn't it?

Why tell everyone this has happened before in the middle of it happening to us?

Was it a plea for help? ;)

It was weird Otis no sure a plea for help, lowering expectation. taking pressure off the squad.

Think y'all reading far too much into things. So he had a couple of failures with previous teams, so what. This is CCFC, We have had the best season for a long time and from a seemingly impossible position. He has worked a near miracle. he has had a unfortunate run of results and injuries at a bad time and it has been difficult to get the earlier form back on track We have made some improvement the last 3 games and Peterborough reminded me of England tonight. The better team found themselves down 2-0. We were missing Armstrong and Maddison both of who are due some form surely, and had Vincelot as CB. There is still time for a strong run in. There is nothing to suggest that may happen as Otis would say but stranger things have happened. Yes I'll be disappointed if we don't make the play offs now but excited for next season. TM is a very good manager and has improved the ethos of this club 10 fold in just 10 months. Give him some time and let him do his job. Buying in Jones who looks a very exciting prospect is yet another shrewd move. I sense they have a eye on the next season or two and promotion was simply a target achievable or not and it has had a pretty good effect on us. We will be stronger for it next season absolutely.

If we finish 14th, 15th or 16th Mowbray will have worked a near miracle?

Let's see where we now end up.

How many seasons can you remember where you haven't been studying the bottom of the table and working out how many points we need to stay clear?

Seems like a miracle to me!

Better I would say. Hardly a miracle.

Also wouldn't call being 11 points clear of 7th to ending up 14th-16th a miracle.

Way, way OTT.

Like I say, let's see where we finish. Mid table will be very, very disappointing after being top 6 for so long.

You also have to say, where's the miracle to be had in a season where League One is very average at best.

A miracle ? We were top before Christmas, considering our strength of squad this slump is as bad as any before
It is.

And for all the talk of a good season, you certainly can't sense that in the stands anymore. 1 home win in the last 6 games and the pained faces and grumpiness and the disgruntlement with the team is there for all to see again.

It WAS a good season, it is now turning into the same old City, very disappointing one.

I really hope so,but can't see it myself .If he doesn't I don't think there's
any chance of us getting anyone better, not just him but his backroom as
well.Think he's very genuine as well and get the impression he would
really love to get something going here.
Something has gone wrong this season.ive no doubt something will go
wrong next season, just as it has in previous seasons.
I know who I hold responsible and it's not Mowbray.
What's up with the random paragraphing

Can't understand how it's all gone so wrong on paper we should still have a squad strong enough for top 6 even with our injuries. The players don't seem to be playing for the shirt not giving it their all in my opinion.

We can do runs of consecutive defeats but find it hard to put a winning run together, time has run out for 6th place the chasing pack is closing in behind.

Tend to agree.

Don't think the required effort is quite there.

Makes me wonder if TM has identified this and that is why he is looking to bring our own players in for the future.

I know he's gone and divided opinion but the likes of Jim o brien always showed urgency you need players like that. Earlier in the season vincelot showed it. You need to be harrying players in this division get stuck in give them no time on the ball. No doubt there will be massive clear out in the summer and hopefully get a more committed squad of players for next seasons campaign

I liked JOB. Really don't know what exactly went on there, but something seemed to be amiss.
