When we move and the subsequent budget makes it impossible to compete?

He is likely to drive to the the new ground, not walk there.

I think he may enjoy the battle and could use it to motivate the players.

He might go if he gets a better offer but he might do that if we stay.

The idea he’ll quit as some sort of protest and leave himself unemployed is crazy.

Nah, he knew the score when he came back. This is literally the only place he's had success, and I think (hope) he sees this club as his chance to become a managerial legend.

I think his meeting with Joy gave him an inflation busting 3% pay rise so think he'd be daft to throw this away.

Maybe Jimmy Hill Way will be protesting against him as a SISU "Stooge" if he doesn't?

Get the sleeping bags and your best sandals and socks on. It's kicking off.

What's made you say that?
Moving from the ricoh to groundshare, surely will affect the budget due to less fans turning up then that will lead to less money in what is already not a huge budget.

You have to think he could end up with a better offer as he's done very well with us

It’s a top 8 budget now which for a promoted club is pretty good

Do ya think we'll stay the ricoh or move? Do you not rekon that will affect the budget in any way?

Who knows. It didn’t last time affect the budget in year one

They were planning it on Sunday. I saw them all having their pow wow before the match kicked off.

Hopefully some of the Maddison windfall has been set to one side as a contingency. That would be the common sense thing to have done as they’d have know it was happening.
And then If we do stay at the Ricoh it’ll be new handbags all round for Joy. Win win in my view.

I have a feeling he is warm and fuzzy and feels valued by the owners so will stay. But football being football he could be offered a better job, or more money, or the players could turn. We have done well under him and long may it continue.

I think he will be given a pay rise and stay, how long has he got left on his current contract?

Tony Cascarino said Arsenal should go in for Madders in the summer
Doubt we'll get any of the subsequent sell-on but Chris Anderson wasn't a mug and it's possible he included a clause
He said at the time that the club would get payments as his career progressed.......

I’d have thought all clauses would have been exhausted from his move to Leicester?

Not sure how long as it was Undisclosed when he (and Vivaesh) signed an extension last Summer, probably until 2021?

Adi Vivash may be interested in the vacant Walsall job if he feels things are uncertain to him and would free up a chunk of back room budget to get a lesser named assistant which could then add a twist and appeal to Micky Doyle if he’s ready to call time on his playing days.
